NESLife attempt #3

Jubblera Sensica: Splime
Evolved from: Jubblera Desertia
Role: simple, versatile flying scavenger
Habitat: warm/temperate land, deserts
Survival Status: Competing
Genes (16): Eating Dead Things x2, Crawling x1, Complex Stomach x3, Water Retention x3, Eyes x1, Flying x3, Smelling x2, Cold Resistance x1
Description: The resources for a brain were beginning to develop in the Jubblera, with the smelling sense increased, as was also done to the stomach's complexity. The Jubblera's mass reproduction has been removed, as the complexity involved with the new species requires more resources from the mother.

Jubblera Latio: squid1111
Evolved from: Jubblera Sensica
Role:?
Habitat:?
Survival Status:?
Genes (20): Eating Dead Things x3, Crawling x1, Complex Stomach x3, Water Retention x3, Eyes x1, Flying x4, Smelling x2, Cold Resistance x1, Flat Antennae x2
Description: The Jubblera Latio was a new type of Jubblera, evolved from the Jubblera Sensica. It was better at eating dead things, and could fly better, but that was not its true innovation. That title was reserved for its antennae. Not only could they feel oncoming obstacles, but they formed a better platform for the smell organs. They also could defend the animal itself, as they were rather fat and flat (like those of a slipper lobster on another planet)

You got me forked: should I save the Stalkers before it's too late or should I spearhead the ottorus as one of the few developments at sea?

I'll think about it... Please inform me about your mass extinction radar!

I believe Boundary events are when Daftpanzer intended a mass extinction but the player creatures were too resilient for one.

Oooh, I hope my Aurora doesn't get killed. I had...predictable plans for it.

EDIT: 35 posts? I thought I would've had, like, ten, maybe.

I think I'll work on an Iggy creation this time.

I picture Mockingbird behavior.

I'm still in it even if it takes Halloween to pass by before update 33.

Thanks for posting the new evolutions!

About mass extinctions: I've drawn up a schedule of nasty disasters which will happen on certain future updates no matter what. Without warnings :)

Also, someone made an NESlife game on the gaming steve forums. he gives daft credit!

@Silver Slave, I meant to reply about that... I had seen it a while back, but thought it was dead. Glad to see its still going. I like OathinBlood's artwork, he actually draws/paints it on paper and scans it!

Description: As the Barioms were forced into the rocky hills and mountains, they soon adapted to the new lifestyle. They developed better hooves, so they could navigate the tougher terrain easier, and seem to have been less impacted by cold weather. They also began hibernating during the cold months, when food was scarce, to conserve their energy. During the spring, as the weather thawed, they would emerge from their dens to eat as much as they could, and to mate. Near the end of fall, after fattening themselves up all spring, summer, and early fall, they'd give birth and then hibernate until the next spring, to continue the cycle.

Very cool. Barioat = Goat? Except tougher and probably smarter :)
