Karnak Temples (33+1)=34 More ancient Egyptian wonders, please! the Lighthouse and Library don't count...
Palais des Papes (12-3)=9 Papal Prison? No thank you! I've seen it from the outside and it didn't left an impression on me.
Santa Maria del Fiore 36

Karnak Temples 34
Palais des Papes 9-3=6 reasonable third place but the other two are more deserving.
Santa Maria del Fiore 36+1=37 this is getting difficult to choose but I guess I'll be going with this one for mainly two reasons: first even though it's not a big argument, but for the Egypt area there are already three wonders as for the Italian peninsula only (well "only" it's just making it very pretentious) has two wonders. Second architecturally speaking Karnak temple isn't as interesting, it is the best example of an Egyptian temple but it's basic architecture, two columns and something on top of them while the dome of santa Maria del fiore it's very fascinating as how it was built without scaffolding. So just barely makes it a better option.

Karnak Temples 35 (34+1) never before seen ww - incredible
Palais des Papes 6
Santa Maria del Fiore 34 (37-3) it is tactic

Karnak Temples 35 -- There may be three wonders in Egypt, but there is only one Egyptian wonder in game. The lighthouse and library could just as easily have been located anywhere in the Hellenistic world from Corinth to Cartagena.
Palais des Papes 7 (6 + 1) -- I am the patron saint of lost causes...
Santa Maria del Fiore 31 (34 - 3) -- Nothing personal, but I have to downvote something.

Karnak Temples 35 - 3 = 32 As Zaarin said, two of the Egyptian wonders are Hellenistic, only the Pyramids are legitimately Egyptian. We really need more legitimately Egyptian wonders, and there is a great abundance: Karnak Temples, Abu Simbel, Luxor Temple, Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Sphinx, which would be more suitable as a wonder than as a single improvement. Egypt needs much more representation. The only justification for me to take this out now is that I want Santa Maria del Fiore and the Palais des Papes more than Karnak Temples.
Palais des Papes 7 + 1 = 8 I'm glad it got so far
Santa Maria del Fiore 31

Karnak Temples 32-3=29 - With Palais des Papes going down now, I can start downvoting Karnak temples. I just find it less interesting than Santa Maria del Fiore.
Palais des Papes 5
Santa Maria del Fiore 32+1=33 - This can't wait any longer. It fully deserves to be in Civ game. It's too iconic.

Karnak Temples 26+1=27 Egyptian wonders are underrepresented in Civ6.
Palais des Papes (5-3)=2 Third place suits this papal prison...
Santa Maria del Fiore 34

I always seem to be one post too late. :(

Karnak Temples 28 (27 + 1) -- Egypt is a land overflowing with wonders--a fact often underscored in the Civ franchise by giving Egypt a bonus to wonder construction--yet at present we only have a single Egyptian wonder in game. This should be rectified.
Santa Maria del Fiore 32 (35 - 3) -- While I'd like to see it in game, if given the choice I'd rather see a more traditional Gothic cathedral like Notre Dame de Reims.

Karnak Temples 28-3=25
Santa Maria del Fiore 32+1=33

This one is a hard one, for right now this is what I choose but I might change my mind later.

Karnak Temples 25 - 3 = 22
Santa Maria del Fiore 33 + 1 = 34

Santa Maria del Fiore is a wonder that should have been included since civ4. Sorry Karnak Temples, but second place looks great.

So, will we have a third round?

I'd suggest Westminster Abbey and Chartres Cathedral (which UNESCO calls "the high point of French Gothic art"). Also Krak des Chevaliers (because who doesn't love Crusader castles?), the Mezquita, and Etchmiadzin Cathedral (an Armenian wonder). I may or may not really like churches. :shifty:
Can I add something to your cathedral and churches list? I have St. Barbara's Church in Kutná Hora, Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Brno, St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague and Pilgrimage Church of Saint John of Nepomuk. All from Czech Republic.

My suggestion is to add 22 wonders to the next round: 4 from Europe, 4 from Asia, 4 from North America, 4 from South America, 4 from Africa, 1 from Oceania and 1 interesting wonder from some continent.

My suggestions are these:

Asia:
Buddhas of Bamiyan
Chogha Zanbil
Humayun's Tomb
Hwangnyongsa
Marina Bay Sands
Osaka Castle

Europe:
Belem Tower
Corvin Castle
Prague Castle
Torre del Oro
Westminster Abbey

North America:
Centre Block
Library of Congress
Royal Palace of Palenque
Palacio de Bellas Artes
Rushmore Mount
Willis Tower

South America:
ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter Array)
Catedral de Brasília
Manzana de las Luces
Pelourinho
Santuario de Las Lajas

Africa:
Castle of Good Hope
Colossi of Memnon
Fasil Ghebbi
Hassan II Mosque
Hassan Tower
Luxor Temple
Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut
Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania

Oceania:
Royal Exhibition Building

What about the astronomical clock in Prague?
Great idea, it's one of the most remarkable things to see in Prague, but I'm not sure if it's the best type of wonder to be included.

I'll post my list of wonders in my today's vote.
