It was posted twice already in different threads.
Gathering Storm it is. Nice find.
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll get substantially more information today than this date we already know.
Maybe the expansion's real name, if "Vesuvius" is just a working title. (Or is "Gathering Storms" confirmed as well?)
Curse you, spoilers!
A lot of that is high population growth combined with poor economic policy and no jobs. This has always happened in particular regions. The difference today is it's a lot easier to migrate than centuries past. In the past those people would have just died from starvation or disease.
Lol I was like why is fanatics so slow today...
Glad that I was wrong.
I expect new policies that are related to handling natural disasters.
They have to reveal something today to justify a marketing stunt on this level, IMO. The expansion name and a couple of headline features, at least, even if no actual Civs. I can't recall the R&F reveal but I don't think any Civs were named in the press release, but most of the main features were.
otherwise well, it's basically the biggest troll since the first Harry Potter movie
If that's the name, that would also debunk that bogus leaked Civ list, hooray!!
Those tornados are genuinely scary, at least for one living in a tornado-prone area.
They would have to change their animal-friendly policy for this. Even scout dogs and cavalry horses get to run away from battle.
Civilization VI: Stormy Daniels with Trump as an alt leader for US.
>new civs are Sweden (Kristina), Hungary (Matthias Corvinus), Inca (Pachacuti) , Ottomans (Suleiman), Mali (Mansa Musa), Maori (Kupe), Phoenicia (Dido), Canada (Laurier) + alt leader Eleanor (Fra/Eng)
>climate change and natural disasters are in
>3 new future era government types Corporate Libertarianism (Domination) Digital Democracy (Cultural) Technocracy (Science)
>World Congress, new diplo options
>Electricity and dams, cities require power which affects productivity
>strategic resources are overhauled somehow
>new wonders/natural wonders

Well, damn. Those are all very convincing. I don't like how they've done Eleanor's hair though.
Not going to lie, this is one of my favourite small details in Civ VI.
I like to imagine my soldiers adopted the dogs after killing the scouts
Why Kupe? Instead of an actual historical Maori leader? They didn't want to offend people? Or wanted a leader without the facial tattoos?
Maybe to meet the requirement of at least 2 leaders we can complain about?
Pretty close to what I hoped for. Very pleased if this all plays out well. Particulalry interested in the World Congress.
At least we don't have to discuss the "Hungarian translator" anymore.
No world on a Diplomatic Victory?
wow they're leaving out portugal? there's definitely something after the expansion for sure
Please tell me there was something about railroads as well and you just lost it in the cut and paste operation
