Finally I am back! Siberia was not cold, as some of my friends expected. North is always fun. I noticed, that you guys were not sitting around.

Well, I survived the hurricane.

We got power back today, a few hours ago. I'm glad I'm not in New Orleans or southern Mississippi....

Thanks a lot. I have seen your quiz, it is as expected sterling work :goodjob: , but I am quite busy with my wife's exam preparation right now and I honestly don't know if I can beat the Prussian field marshall this time. However I may give it a try next week.

Yes I just noticed and I am flattered. Can't remember when I wrote such a cool line, but surely it most have been in an inspired moment (By either Bacchus or Freya, I suppose). :D

It was in a thread about intentions versus outcome. I was arguing Kant against a few Nietzschians, and you stepped in and supported me. You said while you're all for intellectual promiscuity, people should be careful about Nietzsche. Here's the link:

well, just as the summer finally seems to have arrived in switzerland, I'm leaving to enjoy two weeks of REAL summer in crete.

See you all in two weeks, have fun :)

Enjoy K.Ovi!!! And Welcome back again Luc!

I will genuinely be gone for the whole weekend, as of now really. Partly due to the great sunshine here atm but also cos I am moving house.

To those who have been giving me advice, thanks a lot! I found a really nice place to stay in Cambridge and I am moving in this weekend. I won't be logging on at all this weekend as a result. But I will be back next week with the release of this little scenario I made with Luddi, called "The Rise & Fall of The Mughals". Check the preview out here. See y'all!

Thanks. I must really have been inspired that day, since I find myself to be in fully agreement with everything written!
And just to repeat, one can never be too careful when dealing with Nietzsche, he is one crooked customer.
@KaeptnOvi: Have a nice vacation and look out for minotaurs. :)

Pretty big(ish). Pretty and big(ish).

My new house is just across the road from the river and two of the biggest parks in Cambridge (Midsummer Common and Jesus Green). And yes, if the river floods these parks get filled before anything else. I spent the weekend moving in, setting up one sheet hot home entertainment system and then roaming around by the river/parks/pubs in the glorious sunshine.

I looked for a nce satelite image of Cambridge, but I could not find one that was good enough to post.

Sigh. I return to school tomorrow, it will be a very full senior year. If you see me posting here, do me a favor and remind me to stop procrastinating, because that's most assuredly what I'll be doing. If I had any resolve at all, I wouldn't be posting here until my next vacation, but as it is my posting will just decrease significantly.
