The Prime Minister Claus Von Stauffenburg has finally decided on a new Military Adviser / General. The new general is Erwin Rommel! A personal friend of Stauffenburg he helped in the plot to assassinate Hitler! So he's already a good man. South Africa would be more than pleased to sign a defensive pact with Australia. May all three of our nations ward off aggression through these trilateral pacts.

We understand Australia does not enjoy the most warm reception by the world, but we make ourselves quite clear that our defensive arrangements are solely for defensive purposes; we do not remark on any domestic issues our allies may be having, as ultimately it is the domain of every sovereign state to resolve its internal affairs. Giving such role to a foreign power ultimately invites imperialism, which is why we cooperate with all regimes regardless of internal affairs.

Let us analyse what American President Franklin Delano Roosevelt campaigned for in his Four Freedoms. One of those freedoms was freedom from fear; this was not on the subject of dictatorship or democracy, but freedom from fear of war that could have catastrophic consequences. Ultimately, if all nations are at peace, they can look inward rather than out, allowing them to begin the path towards remedying any issues they may have.
