Seriously, all, please follow the sub forum guidelines for bug reports. Even if you aren’t sure if it is a bug, report it and I’ll sort it on github. Dropping it here (or randomly in another thread) is detrimental.

I'm sure people don't have bad intentions, and sometimes you want to speak about the new version without using a computer in the moment. The bad thing is posting screenshots and long texts here.

You might need to include this in bold, different colour, increased font size and a hyperlink, in all of your initial posts with the changelog. You might get some response if you keep throwing it in people's faces consistently :spank:.
 
oh wow. and G definitely knew about this, perhaps it can't be corrected after all? or still a WIP getting gov to understand this mechanic?

It is a WIP, as there's a fine line for the AI in terms of gauging value.

Edit: that's why the patch notes highlight that this is a WIP. Because it is a WIP.

Before creating post on GitHub, just will ask here. Is it a new feature that I can't buy inquisitors from another religion in my city with that's religion? In previous version I was able to do so, and I don't see changes to that in changelog.

It has to be your majority. I think it’s always been that way?

No, in some previous versions(in January 100% that work) I was able to buy even it wasn't my majority. I just conquer AI's small city(or sometimes wait when AI will convert one of my cities with great prophet) with cool order/synagogue belief and if has enough faith generation then buy inquisitors and convert my cities to buy that religion building. After that I converted them back to my religion. But I understand - that was a bug and current behaviour is correct.
 
Ah no, I wasn't right. After AI enhanced their religion I get the ability to buy their inquisitors. So nothing changed, never mind.

P.S.: Nowadays very hard to make farm cluster near wheat. And starting in jungle much worse(for me) then in plain river location.
P.S2: Cities near fresh water has +1 food compared to cities without?

Currently playing a very long Marathon+VPEE on huge map (The version is the one before 1-14)
I bought a inquisitor from Athen before to swipe off Greece from the map. It wasn't my majority religion.
Then, in many cities I bought a cathedral without the belief allowing to do it. (Same way bigcat88 do)

OK It's a trick AI doesn't "know" to do.

It only needs to be the majority in the city that you buy it from. I'm not sure if that's what you meant in your post.

It happened again, AI moving a siege unit next to my city. Gazebo, is there any way I could send you the logs to a throwaway e-mail account? The files are too big for my computer (perhaps due to slow internet connection) to upload either on Github or here. Or if there's anyone else who'd be willing to upload them if I send them the files on their throwaway email account. Thank you.

Watched also some strange behavior, but seen already some patches ago. Playing on emperor, I like to kidnap the starting worker. If I do that with an upgraded scout by goody hut, the AI like to completly useless suicide their warrior against my scout. Seen now 3 times. But sry, no log.

Edit: It seems a lot of you like it, but I get plenty of DoW out of the blue. Friendly AI, normal, hostile. It feels like every 20 turns another AI declare against me and another make peace. Let me stay all time at war against AI, which didnt make sometimes more, sometimes no effort to attack me.
This isnt interesting, its more boring.

I noticed that when you get to Industrial Era with Polland you don't get the Free Social Policy, don't know if something with this version or not since I don't usually play with Polland, but played 2 games and on both of them this happened.

Poland is bug free. U get policy in Classical/Rennasance/Modern/Information + 2 tenets. 6 free policy total.
 
Hello all,

after an being super busy for some months I've found the time to play VP again this week and I'm running into a weird issue:
I'm in Medieval right now and things seem to be going well but I fear I will be handicapped in this game due to a bug or modconflict or something; I can't click the Diplomacy button (well, I can but nothing happens), which isn't all that terrible but it's also the case that clicking "Discuss" in the leader head screen doesn't do anything (all the other options like "Trade" and "Demand" work without issue) and when the AI "talks" to me during their turns with one of those binary choice dialogues I don't see anything (no conversation label and no buttons) so that I don't know what it's about and can only get out by pressing 'Esc'. Because of a super weird Communitas map I was pretty isolated and didn't have that many diplomatic interactions yet, so I dunno if the interactions dialogues are broken for all requests, but it would surely suck if I can't get DOF in this game because of this.

I am using 2/27 full VP with EUI but I also added 'Improved City View for VP (with EUI)', 'Flag Promotions' and 'Unit Path Viewer' all in the latest versions but all of those are pretty old and haven't been updated for a long time.
When I last played in September 2017 these mods worked without issue with VP...so I have two questions:
1) Anyone got any idea how to fix it?
2) I think I found a bug with Evangelism but now I'm not sure if it's a mod conflict...should I still report to Github?
