The IGG council has voted that Sol, mother system of humanity, will be the site of the First Interstellar Galactic Games, and thanks the USC for it’s generous offer. The council also requests to know whether or not Sol will have it’s own teams apart from the USC, so that it may plan accordingly.
An extended list of games for the first IGG has been compiled, and proceeds as follows:

The IGGC has considered the offer of War Games as an event. However, due to it’s controversial nature, it has been proposed that the participating nations in the IGG voice their opinions on the matter.

If a faction would like to enter another event for consideration, it must do so before the opening ceremonies begin. Furthermore, the IGGC requests that all participating nations specify the events in which they will be participating. As few as one or as many as all events may be entered by any faction. Democratic Autarchy of Huris

The IGGC would like to know the stances of the Cybran Dominion, Colonial Federation of Sezuren, Magistracy of Capella, Ascendancy of Imperial Guangdong, and Sword of Wrath on participation in the games on any level.
(OOC: Even insular factions can have at least one or two individuals so bold as to participate in the games?)
Opening Ceremonies will begin once all details and logistics are resolved.

Wrath seems to be an extremely hostile faction, and we'd assume that they wouldn't like being around others and wouldn't be a positive addition to the Games, or the Galactic Community in General. Wrath can feel free to defend itself against this claim, but its actions seem to be those of a xenophobic and paranoid nation.

Gyro-Hockey: We have a version of the game similar to this, played on ice or on a high-traction solid with rollers. We shall send an All-Star team from the cream of our local leagues. (OOC: Is Gyro Hockey like that computer game? Can't recall the name)
Hide and Pounce: We have never played this game, but will train and send a team.
Tennis: We have a similar game called judapom, and will send at least one team. How many may we send?
Furian Football: As with Hide and Pounce, we do not practice this sport, but will still train and send a team.
Baseball: See Hockey
Basketball: See Baseball and Hockey
Football: See Basketball, Baseball and Hockey
War Games: We inquire as to the nature of these games. Are they typically fatal? Assumptions are now that they are nonlethal combat simulations.
Megadeath Arena: We will send a team, should we find people willing to go.
Kalian Dueling: What are the details of Kalian Dueling? What weapons are used, and is the sport typically fatal or injurious?
Solar Yachting: We shall send our best. How many are permitted on the team?
Uberathalon: The DAH will send its fittest athletes to this event.

Track and Field: Naturally, we will send a full contingent for these events.
