He was going to say Moderate Libertarian, but apparently it was like calling a Democrat a moderate communist;)

I thought he should have just said it, but whatever. It is true that the closer to Libertarianism you are, the MORE freedom you want, though I suppose "Freedom-lover" is biased.

what about the freedom from going bankrupt because of medical conditions completely out of one's control?

:p

How can you possibly make that connection? Less Government=/= more freedom, it just means less chances for you to appeal to someone when your freedom is taken from you.

What's the difference between authoritarian and totalitarian?

Authoritarian is more moderate. Small-a authoritarianism is simply a comparative compass definition (Like, compared to Ayn Rand the person, I am authoritarian). A big-A Authoritarian is more exact, but still a milder word than totalitarian.

Anyways I got like 8% on economic "freedom"(riiiight, not biased at all) but 100% on personal freedom. I win.

You know what they mean. I agree economic nonintervention would be a "Better" or "More politically correct" term, but the point is that you support (At least for now) government intervention in the economy.

I don't support government intervention in the economy though, at least not ideally. It's just that capitalism makes it necessary. They don't have any answers that cater to socialists.

I too throw my lot in with "bad quiz is bad".

Clearly biased towards Americans, and rather unrepresentative of the socialist position.

That's probably why the US ranks low on the happiness, health and education scales ;)

But never mind, they consider themselves the best at the above 3.

Probably the worst, most biased test I have done. Far worse even than the World's Smallest Political Quiz. Still, I don't take such things seriously, and it matters nothing to me who sees the score. Just for fun! :)

Right on the line between "social liberal" and "libertarian". It probably made me more authoritarian than I am, simply because I didn't answer certain options I may have agreed with in terms of strength, but because I disliked their descriptions.

There's nothing "moderate" about historical absolute monarchy, which were authoritarian, not totalitarian, if not simply because totalitarian governments were impossible before the 19th - 20th centuries.

Is totalitarianism even possible today? The idea that a single person or faction can rule over every aspect of a modern state seems a bit absurd.

North Korea does it pretty well.
