Boogers.

Do you get them? How much is normal? Do they impact your quality of life?

I get them almost constantly and end up trying to retrieve whenever I get a chance to slip into the bathroom alone. Then occasionally I'll get to rough and it will bleed which is terrible:(
What's worse is when I sleep, just last week I woke up with my hand literally covered in dried blood, it was also in my mustache and on my sheets:cry:

I's easy to just say "don't pick your nose nc, what are you like 5?" But it's not that easy I tell you. If I don't they just pile up until I can't breathe, and itches/hurts the whole time.

So yesterday I bought a squeeze bottle for "irrigating" my sinuses with salt water. I think it may be the single greatest invention I've ever used. It's really gross to do, but right now my nose feels healthier and cleaner than ever. Has anybody else used one of these things?

General Nose thread and/or share nose related stories and experiances:lol:

I used to know a guy who would snort up the end of a strip of soft cloth and then hack it out his mouth. Then he would sort of wiggle it around and pull it through. Cleaned out everything. Made me gag just watching.

I've been told that my nose looks like it was broken.

I have never broken my nose.

edit: I generally sneeze enough that I don't need to pick my nose, although I understand your struggle.

I'm an experienced nose picker. I'm probably one of those people you see who thinks no one is watching them while they pick their nose. Though I find greater pleasure in finding stuff in my hair.

I know no bounds for hate for my nose. 90% of the day my nose won't bother me, but in the morning when I come inside from somewhere my nose begins acting up and turns me into a honking trumpet. Its the annoying of others thats the worst. And tissue paper deals with boogers no problem. The thing to really hate is when your nose runs

I pull out individual nose hairs when angry to induce hate-sneezing.

Spoiler :
Maybe not, but it is kinda funny you can force yourself to sneeze by doing this.

I've pulled out nose hairs, but I don't recall that it made me sneeze.

Hang on.

Nope.

Maybe a momentary feeling like an urge to sneeze, but nowhere near an automatic triggering kind of thing.

Moses supposes his toeses are roses,
But Moses supposes erroneously.

No, wait. You said "noses", right?

I remember walking through a department store in Manchester, only to spy a derelict approaching, with a six-inch length of green snot hanging from each nostril, swaying as he walked.

It's a memory that's stayed with me, for some reason.

Chocolate used to make me sneeze. Pulling out nose hairs doesn't have that effect with me. You may be more nearly unique than you think.

A few of my nose hairs are really, really long. They stick out of nose. It's kinda frustrating having to get rid of those when it's finally too much.

I guess that's something I inherited from my father.

Flare your nostrils to full and plucking undesired nose hairs becomes much less painful.

Braid them. You might start a new fashion trend.

I have a chronic stuffed nose and throat, always hacking up the most hideous thick gooey substances known to mankind, and I've never smoked.

My respiratory system is just useless, I have a huge jar of menthol sweets sat on my desk to regularly suck on.

I've never really figured out my nose. Every once in a while it will just be stuffed. I won't be sick, but for a couple hours I won't be able to use my nose. It happens maybe 5 times a year or so, on average. It shuts down and I don't understand why.

Boogers appear randomly and without warning, and not very often. They seem to follow meals, for some reason. Hot meals and sometimes spicy meals. And not always. Not even usually. Only sometimes. It doesn't make much sense.

I don't pick my nose. I clean it with the help of my nose kit.

Don't remind me of all the large open and easily clogged pores on the surface of my nose.

Thick coarse granulated apricot scrub, nose cleansing strips and acne removaling wands, or and a sink full of antiseptic water and WTH WONT THESE BLACKHEADS JUST GO AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK??? :(

Glad I'm not the only to first think this thread was about Moses.

Sounds like [probably mold] allergies.
