I'd love an explanation of why me and zack are still alive at the end of the game from the scum teams as well

Probably thought we would suspect each other and go after each other and thus keep attention of the scums.

I don't understand why BL was left alive if he's town. There's a lot I don't understand about the kills, not just the choices but the mechanics.

I am also town, unless I've been such a secret third-party that even I didn't know I was third party. And BL told me and Zack in PM he didn't know what was going on, either.
