Takh, you are acting weird even for you this game to the point where if you're town you'll end up forced to claim or lynched.

That said, given your level of experience this game, along with some of the reasoning that applied to Lohrenswald yesterday, you might be villagery simply because you're sticking out like a sore thumb even for you.

If you're a scum Takhisis, you are used to people looking at you cockeyed and know how to blend in when scum. like me. If I'm "acting scummy" early in a game that's when I'm almost certainly town because I know how not to do that as scum and have no motive to behave that way because I don't need to solve it.

Rambly post but the bottom line is that it will be hard to defend you when I admittedly have serious trouble reading your alignment.

I know you disagree with the (thin) read of Takhisis here as town, but how likely is it that I'm right that he shouldn't be sticking out this much if he's scum?

I think you're town and if he is as well and it's a tough read, I'd like for us all to get there sooner than later. Will you consider that angle for me.

I know we look at things very differently and have different approaches and opinions often but I think it's valid.

TL: DR version is Takhisis doesn't have to stick out this much and get scum-read for behaving differently from his norm, because his norm is really easy to fake and highly useful when scum, and I can't recall Takhisis being so terrible as scum that he's easily outed for behaving strangely. (Why I have trouble reading him in the first place)

That behavior doesn't always apply to scumbags and I don't really think of Pokerface Mckittehspam as particularly panicky/flinchy as scum. If he is, and I trust you might have more recent meta on him, point out even one game of him getting really nervous early as scum and your case on him will be much stronger.

That being said I think you have decent odds of being wrong about him regardless because sometimes (and I'm a huge example) townie players are more flinchy and more perturb-able than they are when they rand scum.

I'm considering the false positive possibilities and I think they're high in this example, like they were in Lohrenswald's case yesterday, but for different reasons and circumstances.

I don't know his alignment and I don't have a strong case for his defense which I feel I do have in Lohren's case, but my instincts are telling me that it might not be as simple and straightforward here.

Zack I dunno if I can convince you. It's all in my gut and based on my own personal experiences with false positive scum reads over the years so it's really hard to convey to you where I'm coming from on this one.

You keep pushing him if he's scum and I'm wrong, I'm not asking you to move your vote. Just consider him from both angles even if he is being weirder than usual.

I can't recall us towning together well in recent memory in a large game. I'm not going to force it here just because I want to break that trend, but this is town me trying to tell a (I think) town you not to lynch a hard to read (I think) town Takhisis.

That's my entire motivation, if it feels weird it's probably because it's not a common thing I've done with you in recent memory.

Won't say this isn't true.

Auto's behavior is null for him, but I think his scum behavior looks null for him. His range is basically identical since he always low-posts and reveals little. What's tipping me is who he's voting for and how the thread reacted to him getting pushed, it was a big deal.

I think Takhisis' scum behavior looks null for him also, and since his posts are making me town-read him here and question him there, and he's making you scum-read him, I think that's more indicative that he's not trying to hide his thoughts and motivations.

In a similar but different vein, Lohrenswald didn't have to post a ton yesterday of stuff that's awkward and contrarian. It made people either strongly scum read him or town read him.

In Rapper's he mostly skated through without incident.

Takhisis is capable of posting a ton of weird posts and not attract attention. In that same way, I don't think he'd be pinging you this hard if he was scum.

In my weird brain this makes sense. Feel free to crumple it up, toss it, disagree with it. Just trying to articulate where I'm at with him.

Just let me know you can follow this logic even if you disagree with it wholeheartedly.

I tend to agree that Zack isn't looking good, leading lynches on villagers yet again and his attitude and actions are reminding me a lot of his last game where he was scum.
