Nuke Nes: After Victoria

Look in your outbox....

Sorry Nuclear kid, but Nuke is much easier and simpler to write for my tiny fingers. :p

Can you oh-so-please fix the stats now? ;)

Interesting. Steam? How would that work? In real life, the many energy sources of the world (in the top of my head since I recently did a research paper about this) are coal, nuclear, geo, hyrdo, and solar power.

Unless you want to follow the crazy, yet feasible ideas of Nikola Tesla.

Think he was meaning steam-punk

Ah. I had no idea what that meant, but I looked it up. How interesting. That would be very interesting. :p

(Steampunk computer)

If steampunk is implemented, oil should be of great importance as well, which would be currently dominated by: Russia, Brazil, Venezuela, Lowlands, Persia, and the UCSA. ;)

If you want a better map

no

ten char

Woop, expect changes to it by the update

No, you get a huge army boost, Ill refund you the 2 IC. Be grateful that I don;'t just give you 3

@Nuclear kid Nuke, is it possible for nations to construct monuments, great buildings, etc. on their lands? (I.E. Effiel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Sears Tower, Taipei 101, etc.) And if so, would it cost IC to build? I thought that the thing I built in my orders would increase my IC and max IC substantially. ;( But apparently it had no effect. So I just want to get this cleared now. :p

nope, Im not doing projects

Then how did the UCSA increase it's IC/turn under Dldnjstjr?

It invested in China, which I mirrored, which had absolutely no effect.

I tried doing the Sherman Anti-Trust Act too, which also had no effect.

I believe I tried many other things too, conquering Arabia, adding Korea, adding Luzon, attacking Vietnam, purchasing lands, all of which was fruitless and had no effect.

Meanwhile, I see in this update that the UCSA's purchase of land has increased its IC/turn by two.

I'm either missing something completely or I'm just completely stupid. :p

EDIT: In fact the only thing that I did that ever increased my IC was the unification of Belgium and the Netherlands.

Nuke, like my orders?

Lurkers Comment

The two IC was from tech research

Improved Machine Tools
Cannot use tech funds for this
Cost: 30 IC
Allows: +2 IC for first to research, +1 IC for the next 5, +2 Max IC
Being Researched by: Byzantines (10/30) Ireland (6/30)
Researched by: Russia, UCSA

OOC: Okay, that's explains the 2 IC this turn. But what about the Sherman Anti-Trust Act? What about the previous increases?

I feel like I'm completely missing something in my orders and the way I've been playing NESes thus far.
:p

And oil should play a huge role right now. Roaring Twenties, the advent of the automobile by Germany, and the introduction of winged flight should make oil a major player.

EDIT: May the Lowlands inquire as to what the UCSA did this turn? :p Sounds evil from the looks of it.

Hopefully created two nations, destroyed another ;)
