Welcome to the NES forum! I believe Austria has a player. Besides Austria may be difficult for a new player. The mod has indicated that parts of it may soon rebel. If you want to play Eastern Europe, I would play a Yugoslavian faction. The best spot would be Chile or Venezuela. There is only one player in the area, so it is a nice quiet place t learn the ropes.
