Nuke Nes: After Victoria

OOC: What happened to the Boer/Greece joint research on Engineering Divisions? Did i forget to include it with my orders or did he drop out of it or did you nix it?

"Allright men, lets start these engines!" A roar filled the ship, the ramp fell and one by one the armored tanks roared out of the ship and lined up to wait for the rest of the division. As a tank rolled off the ship it was guided into place by some infantry soldiers who main responsibilies include getting the tanks to the frontlines. On the crest of the hill, a tank driver could see several infantrymen standing around smoking a pipe, he sighed, he needed one now but he has no time. He followed the instructions of the MP and parked the tank. He turned to speak with his gunners.

Private William McKruger volunteered to sign up for the army, he was intrigued by the new vehicle they called a tank and decided to sign up to drive one. Little did he know that school would be hard, but he worked hard and passed the school. Upon graduation he was appointed driver of tank 21 in the 3rd brigade of the 1st division. He went to his base to put his stuff away and meet his crew. He was then granted the right to go home until he is called. Once home he was tearfully greeted by his happy mother and proudly shook hands with his father, both men smiled at each other before the father spoke, "Son, I am happy you joined the army. I remember my days in the army back when we fought in Africa. I shall tell you my stories later, let us retire to the living room and listen to the news and smoke our pipes."
It was there that William heard about the Japanese attack and declaration of war by the British. William knew he would be called the next day and intended to spend the rest of the day with his family. When he left the next day, the father had a proud but sad look as his mother wept. The two men shared one last glance before William boarded the train for Norfolk. His tank was already sent to meet the ship.

Private McKruger saluted as the MP motioned for him to fall in line and follow the division up the hill. The steady roar of the engine was all that William could hear, as the tank went over the hill he saw the city of Tokyo in the distance, he looked at his objective and said to his crew, "There is Tokyo, boys! The war will be over soon!" The crew cheered, but then they fell quiet as they saw some soldiers heading down the road with wounds, broken spirits or just simply retreating. As the division winded its way down the streets, bodies could be seen, Japanese and British soldiers lay on the side of the road, British medics looked over them and took the dog tags and covered them up. The Japanese soldiers were left alone. William looked away and focused on the back of the tank in front of him, he had no stomach for this kind of thing.

As the tank division neared the city of Tokyo, sound of battle could be heard clearly, he could hear the sporadic gunfire ahead of him and to his sides. He took a deep breath and prayed that he survives this battle. As his tank entered the city, he was forced to seperate from the division as the mass of tanks kept clogging up the city streets, as the division broke up, William was left with 2 tanks also heading his way, eventually the 2 tanks broke off and headed a different direction. William sighed, he was alone on a dark street (smoke), with no idea as to where his division is or where any friendly units were. For the first time in his life he truly feared for his life.

As he continued on, he heard some shouting nearby and ordered his gunner to keep his eye on the sound. The tank hummed as the turret moved, William put the tank in park and waited for the gunner to confirm what the sound was.

Story updated later. I need to leave.

Nuclear kid, if Luckymoose is not playing it, then I would like to be Austria.

he is, I'd like to ask you to choose a different one

1 for 1 IC, but they are mostly used for defense

1 IC for 2

you can't :p

When you convert biplanes to piston, how much does it cost?

1 IC for 2

How is this possible? Both planes have completely different parts and require new engines. Both planes also have a different structure, so basically you are rebuilding the whole plane again.

We will just have to live with the biplanes and sell them to nations who are too poor to afford to build them.

If it is not too much, we would like to inquire why the British choose to give the UCSA its independence at this critical juncture in time.

From Great Britain

We have our reasons.

BTW, Nuke, I thought you were going to control Tech acceleration?
