Saw this and thought it was a good sign that a patch is coming soon. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/ar...he-division-steep-open-beta-game-ready-driver

"NVIDIA works closely with developers the world over, providing code, suggestions and engineering assistance to improve performance and add new features. Though often, driver-side changes are also required to maximize performance gains and to support advanced features and new APIs.

In the coming weeks, Battlefield 1, Civilization VI and Tom Clancy's The Division will all launch new updates that also require today's Game Ready driver for the fastest and smoothest experience. So if you're a fan of these three titles, be sure to snag the new driver in preparation."

Kinda what we already knew.. an update is coming but who knows when....(coming weeks = coming months)
But interesting never the less.

I apologize. I guess I'm so anxious for a patch to clean up the mess we have that I got excited at the mere mention of one. Hope it's sooner rather than later. :)

Well that's nice and all but "in the coming weeks" isn't particularly specific, and we already knew they had to come with some sort of update fairly soon so..

I hear you though... I feel that way about the SDK... pretty much check daily for it.

"In the coming weeks"... what a bold prediction. Wasn't that clear to everyone? Of course Civ6 is getting a patch in the next weeks, probably before christmas to pacify the customers.

I wonder. The Aztec DLC are slated for half january and I'm expecting the patch then.
But I could be wrong, of course.
With Civ 5 the patch was in december, so you might be right.

This might be more about DX12 support than bug fixes.

This is exactly what this is . DX12 is already added to the configuration, and the only reason why Nivida would be working with firaxis is solely on a dx12 update to insure the performance is met and no issues are there on release.

I personally can't wait for the workshop implementation and can't comprehend why they didn't wait for that feature before releasing the game.

It was/is to ensure that bug reports were genuine and not caused by third-party modifications to the game.

That would apply equally to all games and there are plenty with workshop support from day 1. This board is further more proof that you can't stop mods. :D

I expect there will be at least some DLC before Christmas, and I would suggest that we will get the first patch with the DLC

Yes and there are plenty of games that are much more debugged when they are released too.
