The NPC nations shouldn't be in gray, they're just as important as player nations. ![Wink ;) ;)](/data/assets/smilies/wink.gif)

Kanorum should be along one of the Kanori Rivers, not the lake.
It may vary from person to person and from tribe to tribe, but I genuinely like your idea more than my original one, so I'll lean more towards the stoic 'Oh well, evil gods are trying to destroy me', than towards the fearful 'Aaaaah! Evil gods are trying to destroy me!'I did not think that religion would play so large role in their life and as you did describe them as stoic, I went with that. I can still change them to be more fearful of darkness and terrors that gods present?
Can we conduct diplomacy now?![]()
Something in the rivers is weird. Under nations sometimes their black and sometimes their blue and cut... Put the rivers as the top layer.
Yes. Much better.
I still didn't make up a nation for this NES... Argh.
Can we get a "population density" map like the greyed out areas in Northern style NES maps? I want to know where barbarian activity is dense, or where nations can suddenly spring alive...
Heralds from: Kuttukar Essar
To: The Assatur
Northern ally! We wish our common merchants easy access to the Hillfolk in the mountains and would like to provide a mutual trade guarantee for our traders' safety in foreign lands. As such, we will compete over price through peaceful wit and not through damning assaults and struggling. Will you agree to this commitment?
To: Jinkudra Essar
Grand Essar of the South, may we be joined in the next world by promise and clarity! Due to our inaccess to the sea, we are planning to expand towards the coasts and would like to agree on an arrangement of claims. Our agreement would be blessed by the Nessukudra and should therefore be True in Jivana's spirit.
To: Niru
On this papyrus, we introduce our goodwill and friendship. We assume you have the same ideals. We would like to offer you rights to larger exports of tin in return for coin, resulting in the wellbeing and enrichment of us both.

OOC: I responded anyway, I see no reason why he can't get through, or at least around, the Hill-People of Shothethur.I don't think you have much contact with Assatur. Theres an entire mountain range between of you guys. Mountain range that is inhabited by hillfolk tribes. I'll respond to diplo in the evening - when I'm at home.

Could you mark it on blank map?I still think Kanorum should be on one of the rivers... Maybe you could put it on the lake, but where the river begins.
