Obama is just showing his amatuer status (just as Bush did). He seems to think that bowing is what people do on a regular basis. You would think the fact that pretty much nobody returns them would tell him somehting. He is overawed by people with far more experiance and savy than him via hobnobbing in high society far longer. Obama is new money, I am sure people like the Chinese Premier find it deliciously funny.

Oops he's done it again! Obama has bowed to the Japanese emperor and Saudi king. Now he's kowtowing to the president of communist China. What a disgrace.

Why do you call it disgrace? Obama is a polited gentleman at least at diplomacy manner. In China, even Hu Jin Tao would bow to a common old who is much older than him. It is called "respecting to olds".
