obligatory BNW screenshot thread

If you got that from the Gamespot video on Brazil, know that it had no new screenshots. That was from G&K.

That is where I got it, had no idea it was a "polder", never played as the Netherlands yet.:crazyeye:

Okay, these are new screenshots showing the trade route system........one shows a Brazilian city!

These are great quality

Edit: oh yeah, the source A few more screenshots here too!

Cool, you can see the icon for the Caravans in the upper left hand corner. I love the perspective!

You can also see the new Brazilian UU in the second image and a modern cargo ship! Is Brazil using the native american city style?

The Brazilian capital! Why are they using Rio de Janeiro instead of Brasilia as the Brazilian capital, while Washington, not New York is the American capital?

i guess because washington was capital city since 1791 (closely after founding USA), but brasilia was founded at 1960, but brasil at 1822. ;)

Yeah, and I'm lovin' Brazil's icon!

Can anybody identify what Sao Paolo is building?

Whatever it is, Rio de Janiero is building it too....definitley looks new

Looks like both cities are building more Pracinhas, the Brazilian UU.

I would have preferred them to not use Native artstyle for Brazil but the Mediterranean. America's not using it either, because both are European colonial nations, not native.

Do you mean Rio? I don't think Washington is in Brazil...

true that. i was referring to tha fact, that USA can have washington, but brasil cannot have brasilia as their capital.

In the Rio screenshot, the trade ship has the exact same icon as the earlier cargo ship. I wonder if those units just get better over time instead of being upgraded to more modern units.

Yeah, kinda looks like they will be similar to the GAs, they are wooden until a certain era and then look more modern later

That would be cool, like work boats and workers, perhaps getting faster as they age up.

I wonder if the caravan will become a "big rig" type juggernaut truck. That'd be fun.
