We already had this discussion. I personally don't think there will be a hidden nationality UU, but at least one person in this thread disagrees. Even with a Mil CS, it wouldn't quite work because they won't gift the unit if the Civ is in the game.
I blew this one up to twice its original size. You can see when you zoom in that both cities are in fact building some sort of infantry.........most probably their UU
Here is a dumb idea for the barbarian unit. What if there is a Native American civ that has a UU that can build barbarian camps and those barb camps generate a barbarian version of the UU (sans camp building ability). Obviously those player made camps would have to have no profit to capture.
One or two new Screenshots from the Pax showing off of Poland. Part of the trade screen was cut off in the demo and you see the full overview for the caravan here:

The second one has a better pic of the trade overview screen for a caravan that was partly cut off in the demo thanks to the poor cameraman. Also I thought we hadn't seen Pedro's concept art before?

Very unlikely. Considering how politically correct Firaxis is, to give a Native American civilization the ability to spawn barbarians... implying that they are barbarians... I just don't see that happening.
Well, if the player is on Marathon and the cities are awful low in production is completelly possible... The icon certainly look like infantry units to me...
The screenshot was likely taken just to show off the unit. They didn't actually play through a full game, but staged the picture. No need to worry about the production costs.

Actually, this would be far from the first time I had seen the AI place cities or improve tiles like this. But actual game or not, I also get the impression that the game has only been played up to a certain time and then they unlocked all the late era content like XCOM's and GDR's to show them off in the same shot, which would explain why it takes so unusual long for the cities to build this unit - a normal Infantry costs 375 production, which will take a long time for an underdeveloped city to produce.
Maybe a reference to polish cavalry fighting against panzer divisionen in WWII (AAMOF the tanks arrived at the battlefield after the action was finished).
Battle of Krojanty.
