Oh, the weather outside is...

We've had thunderstorms lately, with intermittent power outages. The rain has been very welcome since some of the days have been really hot.

So far, no wind storms like the one that prompted this thread (and hopefully we won't get one this year; some places still aren't back to normal from last year).

This heat is killing me, it's at the point where it feels like like i'm breathing a friggin dryer exhaust. I think my keyboard is melting.
And the whole week is gonna be like this. Awesome.

Canada Day was wet and rainy. There have been thunderstorms... and I don't mind it a bit. I'll take any cool weather we get.

Wunderground claims we'll be getting thunderstorms on Friday. Today will be the last day of upper 90s. Which kind of sucks because I'm worried it's going to get more humid. 88 with very high humidity is worse to me than 98 with low humidity.

Mid nineties all week. Sunny and no humidity. Couldn't be nicer.

It is more humid today than it was earlier in the week, and it does suck.

Sure it could... Mid 70s and sunny with no humidity beats mid 90's any day of the week and twice on Sunday. If its too hot to do yard work or play baseball... its too damn hot.

Ehh, I don't know about that. Mid 90s with no humidity just feels good in a way that mid 70s no humidity just doesn't. I can bask in one and not the other.

I'm weird tho, I'm like a lizard. I love that heat but the slightest bit of humidity will have me drenched in disgusting amounts of sweat.

Been 90s and humid enough it just randomly rains for 20 seconds then stops. I'm remembering why chainsaws are a winter sport. Ungh.

I'm with Lexicus on this.I get to eat lunch on the patio, in the shade, and read a book for for couple of hours basking in the delight of being outside.

Today supposed to be the last day of a heat wave over 90 constantly with high humidity.

Looks like we're finally gonna get some rain this morning. Not the thunderstorms I wanted but not terrible. It's not supposed to be as hot over the weekend.

It's been solid in the 70's for the past few weeks but going into this weekend there is a heat pulse that is pushing things toward 100 F. It will settle back into the mid 80's after that and will probably remain there until mid-August. It's too hot to go biking again this weekend but we are having a grill out and pool party tomorrow.
