Oh, the weather outside is...

Tropical Storm Ambo is northeast but is no threat to me. In a couple of days it will come ashore at the southern tip of Luzon and will run up the spine of the island.

Additional: We not predicted to get even Category 1 winds. :sleep:There's some dark clouds to the east, but no biggie. :p

Sunny, in the 80s, light cool breeze.

Canada is up north after all :dunno:

In Poland snow has been sighted too. Most of the country is cold and rainy though. We call this period in May "The three gardeners and a cold Sophia" . The Sophia's name day is tomorrow and after that we can probably expect climate to warm up. Say, I'd rather believe the old wives' tale lake that , than a weather predictions on TV.

It's in the low 70s after a heat wave last week in the mid/upper 80s. I think we're officially done with rain for the year after a surprisingly wet March and April.

Coldest day yet for us in Mesa - only got up to 90F yesterday! Meanwhile back in Syberacuse it snowed on Mother's Day: we're not missing that.

21:00 THUNDERSTORM! Downpour! :run::w00t:

Edit: Last night we were sandbagged by the typhoon when it turned left earlier than expected. My windows were open, so this morning we had some flooding. :mop:

For the first time in weeks, maybe months, our water cistern is full. :w00t:

Heavy rains on Monday caused 2 dams to fail in my hometown of Midland. The flood is the worst in the city's history. They're upriver from us. I'm curious to see what happens when the Tittabewasse drains into the Saginaw River.

A warm week sofar... today blue clear sky... 25 C (77 F)... tomorrow likely warmer.... sofar the driest year since 1976

If that continues with all the Covid home office we'll see the biggest spike in airco's sold ever.

good thing that kids can go to school again.

Delightful today; 80s with sunny skies and a light breeze.

I hope and yours are safe.

It was pretty hot all week but then yesterday it was pleasant. We had the windows open until our downstairs neighbor started chain smoking and then we buttoned up. He smokes cigarettes and cannabis pretty regularly and surprisingly gets away with it. We don't smoke and yet anytime anyone on our floor smokes out in front of the building we get angry warnings from the landlord along with everyone else on our floor. I guess no one has ratted my downstairs neighbor out yet. I'm not going to do it either because I don't think this guy smoking on his porch is worth him losing his housing that he just moved into.

Babies and moms do not benefit from cigarette smoke. Nor do you. Second hand smoke will kill you.
