It's snowing this morning.
I was at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park on the second weekend in May one year... the lake was still mostly frozen over, ice and snow were still on the ground here and there, and there were still people skiing on Mt. Norquay.Same here - did about 11km in intermittent snow squalls this morning.

Camping season starts in less than 5 weeks, and most of the lakes and ponds at the campgrounds I visit are still frozen over:

Camping season officially starts here on Victoria Day weekend. Every year it's interesting to see if the weather will cooperate, or if there will be people packing up their tents to go camping in the snow anyway.
