Oh, the weather outside is...

We had a freezing thunderstorm on Wednesday -- a thunderstorm with freezing rain. It was pretty wild, and about half the ~40mm of rain feel as freezing rain, drenching everything in 15-20mm of ice. We only lost power for 20 minutes, but got a good picture during that time. Woke up around 9am Thursday to the heaviest fog I've seen in a while.

On Friday, a family of 11 were all sent to hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning after they tried to heat their home with a charcoal barbecue. More than 100 people have been hospitalized in Montreal for the same thing.

@emzie That blue box on the corner really stands out.

More snow...

I actually had to turn the thermostat up last night. If it weren't for the lack of turned leaves on the trees and the warnings about staying off the rivers and lakes due to spring break-up, I'd almost swear that it's October again.

I turned heating off yesterday but a tiny patch of snow may survive for tomorrow on my yard - it's been a lovely week with daily high temps around 15-19C with clear blue skies. Nights are still cold(ish), even sub-zero here, too hence the snow.
Last weekend I was doing some small scale hiking 100km east of here near Loviisa and in some shady laces in thicker part of the forest there were still 30cm snow which came to total surprise to me. Yesterday I was doing the same 150km to the west of me, near Turku, and no traces of snow anymore.

Two cloudy, windy days in a row. It is almost like rain!

We're still getting extremely changeable weather at the end of April - one day really cold and windy, another day grey and wet, sometimes with brilliant (but not warm) sunshine. I've only been able to go outside without a coat maybe once all year so far.

Late autumn here light frost out in the suburbs apparently

Still wearing short sleeves tee shirt and puffer vest.

Tried mowing the lawn but it was to wet. Can probably do one side of the yard. Want to try and get in 1-2 mows before it turns to crap.

Bit damp up north.

200mm and more incoming. Third time that areas been hit hard last few months.

It should not be 23C in April. Not when we've had snow fairly recently.

Today is too hot, and it's too early in the year to start opening windows.

34º expected at midday. Sunny. A Storm will come in the evening and the temperatures will drop drastically
The last weekend we had a maximum of 10º and rain.
This kind of fast changes ensure me having cold this week.

Here, may used to be a rainny mond...

Damn, I envy you. It's been way too cold and damp here lately for this time of year.

Sunny, light winds, 80 today; like yesterday and expected tomorrow. Overnight shower dropped about .1" of "rain", maybe less.

92F and sunny today. Too hot.

Typical summer days: 15/16C, about 60F
