Very Impressive !!! You really need balls to do that. That was some of the gnarliest . .. .. .. . ive seen in a awhile :cry:

El Camino del Rey is the name of a very dangerous walkway, located in Spain, Malaga, well...if you're scared of heights, this video will make your head spin. Check this out!

One of the most dangerous trails in the world - El Camino del Rey

Wikipedia says its 984 feet above the river. also says that the entrances to the trail are actually closed because too many people died trying to walk it, people still sneak onto it though. oh and they budgeted a resoration plan in 2006

:crazyeye::crazyeye:

I realize now why the genes of timid people have survived all the way through our evolutionary history. P.s. there is no way in Hell I would ever walk a step on that trail, well maybe if Olga Kurylenko and $ 1 billion awaited at the other end. :lol: :goodjob:

Btw... How did they build that trail??? :crazyeye:

I almost, almost, had myself that I could overcome my fear of heights and maybe try a trail like that just for the view. Then I saw the pipe crossing... no.

What makes it scary is the sorry state that the trail is in. Otherwise, I would certainly do it if I could since I do stuff like this sometimes.

Here is a flash game inspired by the trail and the dam. Pretty easy, although there is one frustrating part where I had to consult a walkthrough.

@Riffraff: Big cojones and small brains. :lol:

Oh I though you were talking about that hiking trail that extends from Montana all the way to the Pacific coast in Washington! At the very least, that's a LONG trail!

Nah, that doesn't look safe to me.

I mean, I've only ever done 3 types of hikes in my life:

1. the walk (5 minutes to the store, half an hour to meet a friend)
2. the elaborate walk (2 hours to get home from the bar, 3 hours on some random excursion in the city or in the wild, 4 hours on an actual "hike" on a trail in a park)
3. the demanding hike (4/5 days covering 60km on hilly terrain with backpacks weighing 18kg/40lbs)

1. and 2. are usually very safe and would never prepare me for the hike in the video. I've only done 3. once, and there was only a bit of rock climbing involved. At no point did I think that it was realistic for me to die... although several times it was "possible" and a couple times i did briefly question our ability to finish.

I would have to do more stuff like 3. and def. more rock climbing experience before i'd feel confident taking on what's in the video. It doesn't look extremely difficult - but there are plenty of places where you could slip up - and die.

Well, that was certainly very impressive !
Thanks for the link, I have a friend who's afraid of heights (Like she couldn't even stand up in the London Eye), and I'm sure she'll love that.
:mischief::)

I wouldn't do it for any kind of money, no. I had some bad moments in the mountains and compared to this trail there was hardly any danger at all.

The guy who made the video probably wanted to commit suicide.

Aw, I thought this thread was more interesting. I misread the title as "One of the most amazing and dangerous trolls in the world" :(

Only thing that really gets me is those couple areas where he had to cross the little planks or whatever, and how quickly and calmly he seemed to cross those while holding that damn camera.

The stupid part is that while someone added a guide wire to latch a safety harness onto, the nutter who made the video doesn't use it.

He's done other videos of spider-like crawling over rock faces.

I'm going to admit that this is the kinda thing I'd want to do. And if I were to ever try, my wife would kill me so that at least my death was on her terms.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmDhRvvs5Xw&feature=related just noticed OP's video was short.

Spoiler The most amazing and dangerous trail in the world. :
