So... I'm not playing with patch a but I did fix the religions myself and choose not to play with a non-human civ :)

I'm not in new features yet but my game is quite fun! I'm playing a leader I added myself, Nell, who has two traits I added myself too: Zealous and Wanderer. Zealous make it so that new cities you found will have your state religion and disciple units start with Inquisitor. Wanderer gives freely the promotions Sentry I and Adventurer to recon units.

Mihuatl declared war on me for some reasons (I guess our borders were too close, I'm neutral, Mihuatl is evil) and I jumped on that to grab the Standing Stones (Mihuatl stole them from me!) and Yggdrasil; those two are REALLY important to me because I'm playing FoL and didn't get the Holy City so I don't have Nature mana...

Anyway, I discovered the Taunt ability of the Harlequins, quite useful! Especially to make defenders get out of their city :lol:

It's an "old" feature but Forts are really excellent. I had the luck to find three of them at perfect chokepoints. Never had any barbarian unit in my main territory. Also, I popped Animal Handling from a hut :eek: That's how I got Harlequins that soon and that really saved my empire :D

Another great feature are the totems. I don't understand why I can't put them on some units (will check the pedia) but the effects are fantastic... Especially considering that I managed to capture two Elephants :D

What else..?

I like the coastal changes! Now I want whales! Very good yields :) And fishing village is really cool. Now mostly coastal cities can be good at producing something :p Did I already mention the art?

I'm not yet at Poisons, so no spies yet... I'm eager to see that :)

Bug reports:

Civilizations are automatically switched out of their Cultural Values civic once they enable another one. Plus, you don't see it, it's just done brutally and silently.

You may want to remove some leaders from the pedia (bGraphicalOnly), like the three you removed ;)

I just encountered a really nasty bug, no idea what caused it. In a multiplayer game with Scions, I had two centennii and Korinna at my capital, so early in the game that it was my only city, and a barbarian lizardman just walks into my city and eliminates me. No combat or anything, it just walks right into the citysquare, ignoring defenders, and conquers it.

I think I have documented it in Orbis concepts, but in short: only one totem per unit, requires subdue animal/subdue beast promotion on the target unit. Also, the target needs to be alive.

I forgot something! None of my workers had experience and yet Mihuatl workers had experience! This is strange. I had Aptitude on all of my workers...

(But I'm using LE, so that may be caused by it)

This is the latest one, I don't know how many turns before lizardman annihilation. But the lizardman in question may have been created by "Powerful enemy rises to defend the lair" result from a nearby barrow, and the lizardman might have a special name.

Keep running into a CtD bug (Cvgamecoredll related) around 300 turns (epic) into every game played so far. Having trouble narrowing it down though since my graphics card ran so hot it actually overheated. :(

I'll check again tomorrow but hopefully others will have more accurate finds.
 
There was a CTD when a Wolf Pack Leader that I unleashed from a wolf den attacked the Adventurer scout of mine (Balseraphs) that released it, I think. It wasn't released after I loaded an autosave, so it can't be reproduced.

At least, I'm assuming that is what caused it, because it didn't happen after I reloaded.

hi the promotion of worker aptitude , dont work my worker dont gain any xp its still lv 1 after amny turn o.o
n please can u make something like if i give them an order to built something to do it even if there r near a enemy? because like a tiger den with a tiger in , but its very boring to clikc on its always to say to him to built that thing, every turn , reven if the animal wild dotn attack him...

I have tried to reproduce it. The named lizard is there, destroys the skeleton but is not interested in capturing the city :( Also, he looks quite ok, so no clue what is causing it.

Waiting for it. Every bit helps, even if I can't fix it right away.
Crashing on next turn, not sure if you guys can get anything out of this, but hopefully it helps troubleshoot. :P

Nope, my fault. Fixed in patch b (when it is out)
I have added 1 to immortal tag instead of free xp. :mischief: So workers are currently immortal I think :crazyeye:
If anyone can't wait, it is easy to fix on user side. Just edit unitinfo.xml for worker and mud golem (lizard shaper is ok)

That is because that change is listed for patch B and the last patch released is A ;)

Waking up works only if there is a danger to your worker (within movement range of the enemy). Also, you never know when the den will spawn another tiger. Not going to change that, sorry.
 
Two issues I noticed when playing Kuriotates again:
1. I started in pacifism without having the appropriate tech, so as soon as I got any other civic enabling tech it automatically adopted that one.
2. My workers could not actually die - they always returned to the capital.

I can provide a save for this: Korinna protects city vs goblin but lizardman simply ignores Korinna and walks over city when Korinna is ALONE in a city( let centeni step aside and you'll see). It is like for lizardman there is no defender in the city in this case.

I didn't find anymore bugs for now... I'm near turn 300, I took out Mihuatl (finally!) and I am quite powerful. I have the whole south of the map for me alone as to enter one huge part of it, you have to cross my empire... Plus, it is full of roamming beasties! Lucky me, I'm at peace with them. My empire is an ecologist utopia :D

One thing I noticed though is that Olives don't seem used by guilds. I have quite a good number of them so it was a bit disappointing to see that I couldn't use them.

What about giving the Seven Pines Enchantment mana and Odio's Prison Body mana, as in FF?

I was quite surprised to see that Mahon founded FoL. Kandros Fir founded both CoE and Empyrean :eek: (and RoK, of course) However, he isn't in great shape. Three cities, none above 6 pop.
 
Hey, I'm new to this forum and thought it would be appropriate to ask few questions.

I got some CTDs:

When you explore a lair and it spawns a pack leader (happened with lions to me) the game crashes. Because it is a randomized effect I found it hard to grab the save file so I hope you can figure it out.

Also, if the lair gives you no result (simply Lair Explored!-text) the game crashes too.

I wonder if it's just me but I was also experiencing Sync problems with multiplayer. I'm not familiar with those so any guesses what might cause that?

Huh, those CTDs are strange... I didn't experienced them during my games. Will have to test that :)

Ahaa! Yes indeed they are, that explains what happened in one of my games.

Also, I did have a crash related to lair exploration: once, the exploration did nothing, totally no effect, but when I then ended the turn the whole game went CtD. However, I reloaded and did the exploration without error. I even once got a pack leader out of that very same lair without further adverse effects.
 
in 0.24a, in turn 127 no religions have been founded. Even the elves don't seem to want FoL. Also my Elohim workers do not seem to be gaining any experience.
 
Not sure what is going on here. Suddenly w/o much changing, my games are weird. Loaded up new Orbis and opened a game through the Play Now to clear everything out. Was okay. Started a new game and got this. (see attached)

Now I'm getting this w/Orbis, Planetfall and the base FfH. The only think I can think of that has changed is that I don't remember if I was patched to FfH D before this screenshot was taken. Yet that shouldn't affect the Planetfall mod.
