Orcs and Humans

Can you check my expeditionary forces and put the 20 knights I sent with them in it please good sir? :D

@Nailix: No problem, will be included with the next update.

Well it's no problem, but it is a legitimate criticism. The point of an NES though is to make a story different than what actually happened, whether it's a fantasy world or the real one. If the Alliance just waited, twiddling their thumbs and toes for the Horde to arrive, that would be a bit counterproductive. Like I said, I have planned a few additions as the war rages onward that will bolster the power of the Horde, the least of which is the fact that there are still at least six powerful orc clans remaining on Draenor, all waiting for a chance to pass through and fight for territory themselves.

OOC: So they're coming after all, regardless of whether I manage not to mess up or not?! :)

OOC: Do we get a Piece-of-Heart with the Platinum Membership Beedle?:D

The Steamwheedle Clan is proud to announce the Development of our Sorcery and Thaumaturgy Line of Research, and The Magitech Synergy Line of Products. We Seek a Partner to Help in the research and to partake in the gains. As such, Should any Mages or Kingdoms who wish to participate in this Advancment of Progress Join us, we will provide an Equal Partnership to the Gains.

(ooc: We want to hire some magic users, in exchange for equal ownership of the results of the research)

To: Steamwheel Clan
From: Quel'thalas

The mages and clerics of Quel'thalas has given your offer of joint research due notice. The absolute masters of Arcane and Divine magic would be willing to work with you on this.

Conditions: Should we feel that the research has taken a step away from our line of work into something vile, this contract would be terminated immediately. There can be no exchange of information with the Horde factions.

Let us know when we can begin this noble enterprise.

To: Quel'thalas
From: Steamwheedle Cartel

First, we would like to make it clear that we have no relation with the so-called "Horde" Factions other than that of Merchant and Customer. As such, the contract being entered with the Quel'thalas, as any contract with the Steamwheedle cartel, is considered Sacrosanct and Binding: A partnership is just that, information must not be shared unless with agreement of both parties.

The Magical research would consist of the study of Magic itself, and the potential for developing Synthetic Magical elements, as well as the possibilities of Magic being used as a supplement for Technology, or vice versa. The Steamwheedle Cartel will not delve into so-called "Vile" magics except to familiarize ourselves with the potential weaponry of rivals, and to develop effective counters.
How many mages will you be sending to Booty Bay? They will be provided with wonderful housing and access to state of the art facilities.

To: Steamwheel Clan
From: Quel'thalas

Send in one of your Zeppelins. I will send across 10 mages and 10 clerics to you. I am sure they would enjoy the ride for we haven't mastered taming the wild hippogryphs .. yet .

From: The Court of Emperor Dagran Thaurissan Dark Iron Clan

Emperor Dagran has expressed interest in hiring altogether 5 Rocket Sappers over the course of two to four months

Ah, yes. 5*120 = 600 Gold per month. This is acceptable to us, if you can pay. The Rocket sappers will be delivered to your doorstep posthaste.

To: Mugwump Anasterian Sunstrider of Quel'Thalas
From: King Magni of the Bronzebeards

Hail Mugwump! We're workin' on yer items as ya get this. Now, before we get to the tough part, we've gotta how many of yer mages you'll be givin' us? This weapons are nae the fare of the regular warrior. The Stalwart Rose and The Unyeilding Starfall are nae toys that ken be given out to wee lads and lassies. The Stalwart Rose will smash through helms as if they were but flower petals givin' under the weight of yer fingers. The Unyeilding Starfall, I reckon, is one of the better bows we've crafted in the last hundr'd, hundr'd and fifty years. We're makin' this at the personal cost of 400 gold. Now, we reckon that 10 mages is a small price to pay for such goods as ours. What say ya?

To: King Magni.

I am sending over my most noble mages, not as a payment for the items, rather they ll have the skills that you would need to develop the items, since the dwarves are hardly ever known to be able to incorporate magic in the walk of life. If we need to buy anything, we will pay you in gold.

To: Mugwump Anasterian Sunstrider of Quel'Thalas
From: King Magni of the Bronzebeards

Aye, then we have a bit of a problem. Now, we dwerrow have little need to enchant weapons, though all the same we'd like to be able to explore the options, as it were. Ya see, we asked to trade our weapons for some of yer magically inclined mages. Now, gold is all good, but nae what we need. We ken dig enough ourselves. We'd rather have some yer magic men. If you cannae send us ten of yer men, we ken negotiate. Now if ya do nae need the Stalwart Rose or the Unyielding Starfall, then we ken call the deal off.

Consider this the approximately 36 hour warning to get those orders in.

OOC: Everyone has approximately 12 hours to order any troops from the Steamwheedle Cartel, before I send orders in for this turn.
