mine has too, and i guess i'll get it.

wouldnt hurt since i have nothing better to do on my nights off other than nurse wounds from the apparently dangerous Sam's Club overnight shift.

I will probably buy it, not immediately, but once I get some positive feedback from it. I'm particularly interested in the fact that military will not be the option of choice now for winning.

Not immediately, but I'll no doubt get it at some point :)

Put 'Yes, after the price drops,' but I won't mind the price regardless of when I get it.

by the way, where is the option for "i don't play civilization"?

No. I still haven't beaten all the CIV III Conquests on Sid yet.

I'll try to buy it ASAP, but realistically, by the time I can get it, the price will have dropped.

I probably will, since my interest in the game has picked up lately.
Finally, you and I agree on something! ;)

I'll be at the All-Star game on release day, so I'm gonna preorder it from Amazon this weekend and let it show up when it wants to.

yes- it looks awesome

though I will probabley wait until the price comes down a little... play civ4 reguarley and the addons in BtS should make that time so much more fun :)

Yes. Igloo Dude is trying to get the mods to lay a smack down on each other and I'm just the man to do the job. :satan:

Kind of a side-note, but its only $30 or so (at least in the US).

In relation to other things we spend money on games are dirt cheap. Think about it. If you go to the movies w/ our wife/gf/bf/whatever you'll spend $30 for 1.5 hours of enjoyment.

After BTS, I'll have spent ~$120 on Civ4 and its 2 expansions, but I'll have gotten 100s of hours of fun from it.

/shrugs shoulders :)

Remember to factor in the price of your PC ;)

I'll probably have the money to get it a week or two after its release. I'll have to choose if I want to get Beyond the Sword, or if I want to send my Sims to University.

If Civ IV worked, I would.

(BTW, anyone with extensive video card knowledge, feel free to help me with my problems in my thread in Civ IV - Technical Support)
