I had a look at Japan's save it is very delicate, I would prefer to leave the up to Boli as I fear of unbalacing something in his plans.

Hey all,

While we are waiting for the Japs, I have a substantional upgrade to the scenario.

Most important is that engineers and artillery has been added.
Scrapped was the German and Soviet Antitank Armor.
Also there has been changes in the rules.txt concerning unit abilities and production time.
Finally some new unit graphics has been made - Panzer III, IV, Panther and M3A1 "Grant".

Best Regards

Could you be more specific about changes a detailed list is preferable

in PBEMs tiny changes can be drastic

I guess most importantly tanks have had their move increased by one point. Likewise have most aircrafts also got their operational range increased.
Else I have done a lot of balancing of the unit strenghts, and to tell you the truth, I cannot remember all the minor changes. Though I can reveal to you Voltar, that the Wehrmacht divisions has got slightly better attack strenght and the Stuka bombers are now cheaper to build.
Right now I make a lot of changes to the scenario, so be prepared for more updates, especially on the rules.txt.

Best Regards

BKA

Great so far the changes sound fine to me.

Forgot one more thing Voltar,

The Wonder "German Military Tradition" which gave all new units veteran status has been deleted and its effects nullified. It now figures under "The Pergamon" and it is going to be used in the next version. It will be located in Athens to symbolized the Cradle of Western Civilization, and thus be more of a symbolic thorn in the Allies eyes if Germany takes the Greek Peninsula.

I hope that you havn't sold all your barracks! :p

News in the world:

- Torpedo net spies Rogue Soviet Destroyer
- Salchin Isles bombed out of exsistance
- Tank squadren bombed

- Cruiser manages to overwhelm American battleship by ramming it... the Captain has ordered a retreat home for major repairs.
- American crusier torperdoed! in the south Pacific

- Second advancedment towards Indochina begins.

OK I used the new rules... they seem to work nicely, airpower is a tad more effective requiring less "bunny hops" between cities to get to the front line.

Things are looking up (this is of course when you tell me that all Japenese units are destroy after attack becuase of the kamikazi rules).

Sorry for the wait.. finally at my own computer with all the files on.

Nice to have you back Boli.

Hmm, maybe it isn't such a bad idea to implement the kamikaze rule for all Japanese units...I will think about that
