So you're probably aware that Mark Zuckerberg was named Time Person of the Year.

But who do you think is deserving of the title of Person of the Year for 2010?

Julian Assange. Also, people need to keep in mind that the title is not necessarily an honor. It just indicates that you have had the most significant effect on the world that year, for better or for worse.

I'd go with Assange too.

Posthumously, I'd go Benoit Mandelbrot.

My self :D

Anyway I really don't think anyone influenced the world positively this year so I really think no one should have the reward.

*shudder*

Well it's not necessarily about influencing the world positively. It's more about the size of the impact. Zuckerberg is an interesting choice, not because his impact isn't large, but because it's hard to see how it is 2010 specific.

I would agree with Assange. I don't think there is anyone who has been at the centre of attention so much this year.

Is that blood on Stalin's chin?

How many times did you hear about Mark Zuckerberg without it be related to the movie, now compare that to Assange.

The numbers say Julian Assange hands down,

Julian Assange has already been said but he wins by miles in my book.

Who the heck is Suckerburg?

Kim Jong Il would win as biggest bluffer of 2010, but well, there are still 3 last days and who knows ;)

And Assange for what? For that you know that Putin is Alpha Male? I sometime think that was controlled leak...

Who the heck is Suckerburg?

He invented the fashboook. I don't see how that makes him particularly deserving this year, since facebook has been in existence for over 5 years now...

Why the heck does everyone love Facebook? it sucks.

I was Person of the Year once so I am well qualified to say that Assange would have been a better choice.

Fejsbuk (in Polish) is lame.
