New Year’s Day, 1851

It has been almost three years since the Fall.

Across the world, especially in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, new countries have risen to bring order to vast swathes of territory that had fallen into disorder. In Central Asia, Australia, and Sub-Saharan Africa, new countries have emerged onto the international scene, bringing hope and optimism to a scene in short supply of both.

Kwakiutl’s trade offer to the USCA was snubbed by Central American diplomats last year, much to the confusion of the former’s government. In more successful news, the country restored civility to the remainder of California and parts of the American Southwest. President Rodrigo Diaz of the United States of Central America, meanwhile, has expanded the country north and south, to the same amount of success of their North American neighbor.

In Africa, the only major news is the establishment of the Kingdom of Great Zimbabwe. Likewise, in Asia, the Angrezi Raj has expanded its control further up in Malaysia.

Major events took place last year in Europe and the Near East with the reestablishment of the Russian Empire in Central Asia. The region, the most stable in the world, is wracked with tension between the satanic Russian government, Sunni Ottoman Empire, and Shia Persia. The non-aggression agreement between Georgia and Persia, however, has potentially defused a colonial border crisis before one began.

However, not all things are great in the Middle East. The Ottoman Empire is experiencing increasing pressure internally from a portion of the population calling for the establishment of a Turkish republic. These calls are the result of infighting among the nobility for control of the throne, which has been vacant for three years now.

Quick Notes

Units can't be used the turn they're built!

Everybody has five Financial Points in the bank.

Your orders must be formatted correctly to be accepted.

Country Name (Spendable EP, Spendable IP, Spendable FP)
Spending Item (# of Points used to build x number of whatever)
Spending Item
Bank EP
Bank IP
Bank FP

You *must* specify points you are banking. Otherwise, unused EPs, IPs, and FPs are lost. "All into", "rest into", "half into", and variation of those type of orders won't be accepted.

The USCA apologizes for its diplomatic actions last year towards the Confederation north of us; we would be happy to lower trade barriers between our nations. The USCA is particularly interested in selling our agricultural products in the Confederation, and buying any undesirables the Confederation might have, so they can be repurposed to be productive.

Sone, don't tell me I forgot to send you my claims.

I will punch a goddamn wall.

Persia will deploy its other orders later on. We are just noting our claims for now.
