The Horse stumbles into Minsk, the long hard ride out of Warsaw has taken a lot out of it, the Wanderer hops off of its back and pulls an apple out of his bag to offer to the Horse.
The humans here seem nice, they don’t ask about the hat, that is often a problem with the humans he meets, but these people are pleasant, they pull the horse into their makeshift stable.
What language is that? Russian? Polish? It doesn’t seem to be quite either, the Wanderer slips off the helmet for a second.

Strange new world, he thinks, with the resurgence of these regional traditions side by side with the remains of high speed telecommunications, he pulls the tinfoil back calmly.
He thanks the man for helping with the horse.

The Wanderer shakes his head, “I don’t…”
“No, this is no good,” and the man pulls him inside a ruined apartment complex where his family was living on in some of the better surviving rooms where the man’s wife offers the Wanderer a bowl of soup.
Good soup, he inhales it. He hasn’t eaten in a long time.
The man shakes his head, “How long have you been out there? Do you have any news?”
The Wanderer smiles and puts his hands on his hat, “What do you want to know?”

In the South Pacific Epsilon Squadron invested heavily into the construction of a power plant.
Dolphins rejoiced at the new friendship with the Nalese. Many homing beacons have been initiated and Dolphins continue to search for lost technologies. Easter Island is quite pleased with the piety of the Nalese, despite what vicious rumors they might have been told by many others. In return for their assistance the Dolphins have teleported the first of their findings directly to the Makuna Hatata crash site, a still working (if ancient in design) ET Fighter.
The Knights of Mordor, thanks in part to the Nalese help, were able to deal stunning defeats to the Leelah of New Zealand. The first strike came with a virus that debilitated the alien’s APC, offered by another Human resistance group. Without a Hyperspanner the Leelah troops are unable to repair the device. But after this, because of the Nalese lasers that had been provided to them (along with an English translation of the manual) they were able to press the advantage and destroy the soldiers.
The Nalese scavengers were able to spread word of their people, while also recovering a human Jet and 3 Lasers. The lack of the fighter this turn, in addition to the continued ignorance of the operation of Jeeps severely limited their range. A team of horses was offered up by locals, as gifts to the Nalese. Human viruses also crippled another ET Uplink, leaving the group with only one remaining uplink.
Although refugees were largely ignored last turn a large number of humans still migrated to the Makuna Hatata, the most recent 967 humans seem to be causing problems with crime, as some new illicit gambling centers are sapping the resources of the Squadron. Another 2,408 remain at the border requesting admission.

On the outskirts of Johannesburg soldiers from DeBeers met with a Neter Soldier from Cape Town and the remaining Soldier from the original Johannesburg resistance. It was soon discovered that there were only 2 Puumon troops remaining in Johannesburg.
Despite their inferior numbers the Puumon’s staged a fierce last stand. The troops from Cape Town were killed, along with 2 Soldiers from DeBeers. The remaining DeBeers soldier marched victoriously into Johannesburg where, as promised, Carlo offered them half of the technology required to operate Plasma Weapons, he and his remaining soldier are now officially employed by DeBeers.
A Plasma rifle and a laser were found on the defeated Soldiers, 4 Computers were found in buildings, along with a unit of Jets that had somehow survived the war. A satellite was found in the city, but it requires repair. 4 Fuel was found with the Jet but because of the lack of a Fuel Depot only 3 could be recovered. A Courthouse was found still standing in Johannesburg.
One interrogation at a time, ET Utility tools were also mastered over the last months.
The successes of DeBeer’s Army have greatly enhanced their reputation, and 2,068 new employees were brought in over these last two months. There remain another 4,567 applications on file, although the HR director insists that to continue hiring people would likely only lead to redundancies and lower efficiency at this juncture.
The source of the alien air support that ran Carlo and his troops out of Johannesburg before the arrival of DeBeer’s forces has been discovered. 2 weeks ago a group of thieves were discovered attempting to steal the Hyperspanner. These men have been put in solitary confinement and though most refuse to talk about their mission or their point of origin, one simply asks to be returned to his beloved masters at Omicron Wing. Intercepted communications also indicate that Omicron Wing has been working with another group of Tourliski in Dar Es Salaam.

For the Yankee Suns many secrets of Alien technology were uncovered, the assistance provided to 3.82 allowed them to activate Yokohama’s Teleporter as the diligence of their own scientists unlocked the Hyperspanner. The new technology allowed them to gain access to the Okinawa Power Plant, one of the safest and most secure power plants in the world, still operating at full efficiency.
Hackers did not find plans for a faster than light ship in Zeta Wing’s databases, but one programmer did trip a security protocol that wiped all of the information that was there. The Rafiki were true to their word, and made good on their promised technology in exchange for the attempt, 1 Computer was lost.
The Cavalry of the Yankee Suns marched into the ruins of Tokyo equipped with lasers, when setting up their first ambushes many were convinced that it was in fact the squids setting the trap, air support provided recon, and was able to herd some of the Ukabu Ika away from the trap, in hopes of preventing the land troops from being overrun.
The first squid chased the ‘bait’ soldier three blocks right into the ambush and he was quickly overcome, but not before letting out a terrible shriek.
This shriek summoned the remaining units in the city, 4 troops, although their training had degraded to militia status they remained armed and ready to fight.
The first militia retreated, possibly all the way to Sapporo or to the DMZ, both known regions with a strong Alien presence. The second and third militias were easily dealt with, but the final group of militia succeeded in killing a soldier before it was defeated.
Following the liberation of Tokyo no buildings were found still standing. 6 lasers were looted from the defeated soldiers and 3 ET Uplinks and 5 Fuel were found in what appeared to be their headquarters, near a damaged Human Tank that could be easily repaired with the Hyperspanner. Well versed in the use of ET Utility tools, the soldiers were disgusted by the images they found on the ET Uplinks but have returned them to the base for more effective military uses.
1 unit of Jets was found in the Yokohama airport, as well as 3 new computers at the University. 508 new citizens, mostly schoolgirls fleeing from Tokyo, have affiliated themselves with the Yankee Suns.
6 broken computers were recovered in Okinawa; the Hyperspanner could make 3 working computers out of them, but not in a single turn.

The Script Kiddies continued to build their military, sending troops to safeguard the Itaipu Dam, providing the group with a new stable source of electricity. The streets of Rio glow and the population of the Script Kiddies have been holding commemorative beach parties. The future of the economy seems to be only greater and greater heights. 623 new refugees congregated to the Beach parties and never went back.
The 402 Puumons of Brasilia do include small groups who seem outraged about the proximity of human settlers. The elite of the city are excited with the new flow of electricity, but some of the Puumons have started anti-human hate groups in Brasilia. The Puumon Mayor of that Encampment has sworn to crack down on the problem.
The virus crafted by Alexandria University Tech Support was extremely effective and managed to completely cripple the uplinks of the Neter at Giza. They would probably inform people of the problem, possibly even imply the Script Kiddies as the culprits, but all of their communications equipment and their ships have been shut down by the virus.
The Alexandrians have joined the Script Kiddies, bringing their 853 members. They insist that if troops can be sent to their position then they are prepared to begin marching on Giza to take control of the Pyramids by force.
The Rafiki Command Group 3.82 provided the technology for ET Utility Tools in exchange for the help of the Script Kiddies, although no plans were found. Security protocols were tripped by an inferior hacker that the Rafiki had also contracted the job to, and 2 Computers were lost to the security protocols.
The Easter Island Codes seemed crack proof, the Dolphins were quite happy with the results and teleported 2 ET Uplinks to Rio in thanks.
Control was established over Sao Paulo with the arrival of many human settlers. Apparently the city was being occupied by a group of Neter, but the 236 Falcon-headed aliens gladly opened their gates to accept the new settlers. They provided these settlers with a Plasma Rifle and 3 ET Uplinks. The Small-Class Fighters that they had flown in on had been shot down en route to Macchu Piccu, but the ET Fighters could be repaired with the use of a Hyperspanner. Some Refugees say that a group of peaceful visitors deep in the Amazon calling themselves the Lilin possess a Hyperspanner.
Although the Neter have been enthusiastic about allowing humans into Sao Paulo, they have been repeatedly asking how long it has been since the settlers talked to Jesus, like, really prayed.
Alexandrian University IT Support provided 5 Computers, 1 Naval Craft, and 3 Firearms and 2 Militia when they joined the Script Kiddies. There is a still working Laboratory in Alexandria University.
The persistence of Corruption problems in the Economy has led some Legal Professors to advocate the creation of a court system to maintain order. If a Courthouse were built in one of the Encampments they believe it would help stem the problem, but mostly they are starting to sound like the economics professors when they talk about the problems of training and processing so many people at once. The Science professors are working late hours in Rio and in Alexandria trying to figure out how to operate both human and alien technologies; they are extremely worried about their capacity to meet any deadlines.
Attempts to reprogram GSM-8BR were unsuccessful because of the lack of computers to do it; technicians were tied up all turn helping foreign powers.

The Resistance and it’s now impressive economy began to extend their influence through foreign channels, and with their militias.
Their computers were able to work with the Knights of Mordor by helping to create a virus that shut down the alien’s APC, the Knights of Mordor then followed this up with a direct offensive with lasers provided by some group of rogue aliens. The Leelah groups have been beaten off of the island, and the Knights of Mordor have provided a Naval Craft in thanks.
Closer to home Leelah militias to the NorthEast continue to defy the Resistance, and some have even conducted raids into Las Vegas and Boulder City, some fear that if these groups are not dealt with they will soon threaten Primm. The panic has stunted population growth, many flee to Los Angeles, but others have even fled North, into unknown territory and out of Resistance controlled lands. Enough to make up for the losses and also 403 new settlers still found their way in, most of them refugees from the repressive San Francisco monarchy. These groups brought 2 new Firearms and a stolen bit of technology from the Neter Oligarchs, they call it a Hyperspanner and it might allow the technicians to repair the Resistance’s downed ET Fighter.
The news out of Austin is that it has been totally taken over by some new pan-American Drug Cartel, and the group is known to be heavily armed. In Mexico it has been rumored that this cartel is hiring alien hit squads to do their dirty work.
1 Militia of Succubi was found outside of San Diego, the Resistance Militia and the Alien group battled each other to extermination, no survivors returned from either side. The fate of San Diego remains a mystery.
Edwards Air force base was found undefended, but the facilities still contained 2 Fuel, 2 Jets, and 4 Computers.
Most of the Fuel was used up by the extensive driving. In Phoenix the ruins were found habitable but abandoned, along with 5 Computers, 3 Lasers, and a Plasma Rifle.
2 Computers were lost this turn to Rafiki viruses that cut off the fans and melted the motherboards. Some are concerned that aliens will turn their PC into a bomb.
The Economy has seen substantial growth over the last few months but some of the smugglers who bring in supplies note that the Resistance probably won’t get any more profitable without a consistent source of electricity for the population. Their Economy could stay stuck at 5 until they find one.

Not far away, The Vanguard completed their siege of the Valley of Mexico.
The Jets struck first, large birds in strange metal approximations, flying over the Wall and targeting the troops with Mind Control rays, easily destroying them.
This left 3 Laser wielding soldiers and a Plasma equipped reinforcement against three laser equipped troops behind a wall. These troops however were on the bad side of a siege and had not received any of the reinforcements they had hoped for from other factions. Two laser equipped troops were lost in the battle, but Los Communados has been eliminated. The Nitros have returned the place to its human name, Mexico City. 3 Lasers and a Mind Control Ray were looted from the enemies, 5 new ET Uplinks were found in the city along with an ET APC, a large tank designed to carry multiple (2+the Pilot) troops to a deployment and to provide armored support for them. Apparently the Neter had been trying to teach humans to use it and had failed horribly. 4 Fuel was found stockpiled in the PeMex Headquarters.
Cartel del Golfo has made good on their payments as well, but has other targets for extermination. An increasing amount of the Cartel’s traffic now goes directly through Vanguard bases, and the organizations work more and more closely following the victory in Mexico City.
The city has been occupied and contains a wall, a farm, and a group of power plants that are in serious disrepair. This can be overcome, the most technically proficient members of the Vanguard note, and they tend to make smug remarks mocking the Neter for their lack of technical aptitude, before noting that they will need a Hyperspanner.
Another group of Nitros in Veracruz made contact with the Vanguard, they claim to have a stockpile of Plasma Weapons and a Hyperspanner.

The battle to control Manaus saw the Lilin preparing their Tank and sending it in with a Plasma Rifle and 2 Laser equipped Soldiers. The Laser equipped Soldiers were lost in brutal confrontations with the surprisingly large number of militia defenders, protected by a wall, but in the end the Tank and Plasma Rifle equipped infantry were able to march into the center of the town.
Many nearby civilians, and also the population of a local political prison that was supposed to have shut down in 1983 were very excited at the defeat of the MPs. Brazil faces a brave new day, and 508 new citizens have joined the group in Manaus. They bring with them 4 Automobiles and 2 Fuel, enough to make up for the cost of the Tank driving to Manaus.
In Manaus a Human Jet, 4 Fuel, 3 Lasers (that the MPs still struggled to understand), were found with 6 Computers. An unlaunched satellite was found in the base, and the technicians of the Lilin are confident that they can make it work with the technology on hand if the Fuel and Economy are invested into launching it.
In Exchange for the help of the Lilin over these last months, and in recognition of their Piety, the Dolphins of Easter Island have teleported 2 ET Uplinks and a crate of Tinfoil Hats.
The construction of a Fuel Depot has been accomplished with remarkable ease over the last months, as have upgrades to increase the output of the farms. A particular brand of Circle worship focused on the physical act of love has grown extremely popular in the Amazon. Its foremost ambassadors are a class of individuals, provided for by the Lilin as a whole, who offer their sexual services freely in an attempt to more perfectly understand the nature of being.
With the genetic program to create a more uniform race, the orgies of the Lilin are known far and wide to be somewhat freaky affairs involving sometimes fully adapted Lilin at the same time as many of the component races and other groups who are in the process of developing into Lilin. At the same time they are considered deeply honorable, and are conducted with all the pomp and ritual of any worthy religious ceremony. In the most graphic way possible, it is clear that we are all one.
101 survivors from the fallen city of Los Communado, Neter and Human alike, have sought refuge in the Amazon, though the Neter are considering moving on, they have heard that the fortress at Machu Picchu has been reactivated.
The services of the practitioners of the Lilin’s practice of the Circle and the call of the Lilin to bring in all people has brought another 792 refugees, many people are excited about the possibility to adapt their genetics to the ‘Higher Form’ of the Lilin. Instant reincarnation, Instant Karma.
Corruption is a problem, many of the new Refugees are smuggling illicit chemicals and the Lilin are not seeing a full cut of their economic contribution. The higher officers have proposed the construction of a Courthouse, but on the other hand a particular escort who Qarinah has recently grown fond of strongly recommends that the group instead should gain control of a reliable source of power, so that the economy can continue to grow and the group can capitalize on the size of the population rather than dealing with short term problems.

East Africa continues to be shaken by the might of the Shrimp, as their co-operation with the Rafiki of Command Group 3.82 allowed them to unlock the secrets of the crashed ET Fighter, although the technicians will need to learn to operate a Hyperspanner still before they can repair it. It turns out that this job was contracted to multiple groups, and one of these groups tripped a security protocol that destroyed 1 Computer at Kilimanjaro, no plans were found in the database. Their own scientists managed to discover the technology behind the Rafiki lasers.
The territory of the Lemon Banana Shrimp has become a beacon of religious toleration, drawing many new settlers, 643 new refugees now make the encampments in Kilimanjaro their home, and a full 1,782 remain outside the boundaries and request admission. The newly appointed Shrimpy McNinja has denied them citizenship at the moment, over concerns that such a large influx of immigrants would slow down the Shrimpese economy while the groups were being properly settled; he favors a more gradual approach.
The computer technicians were able to gain substantial information about the nearby groups; the Succubi in Bukavu are reported to have an ET APC, a Hyperspanner, and 2 Lasers according to stealthier intrusions that were not discovered. Before the computers probing the Dar Es Salaam Tourliski were shut down they found the group in possession of an ET Fighter and 3 Lasers. Each group has 4 ET Uplinks.
The Tourliski of Dar Es Salaam are apparently working with a larger group of Rafiki deserters operating from somewhere outside of Africa, there has been a great deal of troop movement in their base and multiple air based reconnaissance missions that leave many Shrimpese unsettled. It is possible that the Succubi of Bukavu might be potential allies if there are groups who want to incorporate them back into the horde against their will, they also seem less expansionistic and only slightly hostile to outsiders.
Scavengers this turn were able to locate 6 new Computers, 2 Lasers an ET APC and a Hyperspanner. On their return to the base though, they encountered resistance from 2 militia groups, apparently child soldiers, who claimed affiliation with Al Shabaab. Although both militias were quickly dispatched, with one of them retreating towards Mogadishu and the other severely outgunned, the remaining problems of child soldiers still trouble many Banana Shrimpese.
Corruption has become an ingrained practice as the economy grows, but Shrimpy McNinja proposes that this could be alleviated with the construction of a Courthouse where the corrupt can be held accountable.

The Tourliski of Omicron Wing spent much of the turn scavenging.
The fighters sent to Dar Es Salaam were able to perform a number of recon missions, and established the main areas of local threat. A group of Succubi in Bukavu have not responded to radio transmissions, and a group of humans near the Earth Mountain, Kilimanjaro were found possibly hacking into their database. There is a large, poorly trained army in Mogadishu with their own plans for Africa, and a group of Nitros continue to battle for Mzuzu against human insurgents. The immediate area seems ready for conquest.
Zeta Wing’s plans for a jump capable ship were destroyed this turn, when their security protocols wiped their drives in order to protect the information from a staggering number of human hackers. Zeta Wing has traced the problem back to a Rafiki Command Group in England and plan on using their fighter to attack that base, if Omicron Wing will coordinate an assault with them. No land troops could be sent, and so the territory could not be held, but the destruction of land troops and equipment should be enough to keep these Rafiki from meddling further in matters that have nothing to do with them.
The Puumon group in Johannesburg was routed from the city this turn, and many have been hitchhiking to Dar Es Salaam, they bring sour news of the state of South Africa, it seems that much of that nation has been retaken by various human forces. Neter seem to be cooperating with these humans, and these traitors must also be dealt with.
The manager of the Rogun Dam was willing to part with his staff for a meager 2 Economy; these are now some of the most loyal forced servants of Omicron Wing. The level of care they receive has been widely documented and spread near and wide in order to encourage immigration, many humans are quite impressed with the relative ease of their lives in these turbulent times.
Scavengers this turn found another crashed Carrier, although none of the survivors were found onboard. An ET APC, a crashed Fighter, a Hyperspanner, and 3 ET Uplinks were found on the ship though. The fighter has been repaired with the Hyperspanner as was 1 of the ET Uplinks lost last turn.
History will hopefully forget the attempts of a group of human indentured laborers who brushed up on their English, spent many hours practicing Boer accents and formulated a plan to steal a coveted Hyperspanner from the DeBeers Corporation. They smuggled themselves onto a commercial craft and had sweet talked their way into the Supply Room where the tools were kept before they were discovered. They did this in private to protect the plausible deniability of whoever it was that made it extremely clear to them who it was who he had heard had a Hyperspanner, and why Omicron Wing needed it more. The crash site was discovered mere days after they had embarked and no one trusts any codes well enough to send them a recall message.

The leadership of SHIELD remained locked in meetings, unable to respond to the outside world.
The militias outside seem to have organized into a group called the “Millitant Grammarians of Massachusetts” who pledge to reunite New England behind their leadership. They are headquartered in Boston and led by Avril Incandenza. Some in SHIELD worry that they will send troops to the Rocket Base in Albany before SHIELD’s leadership finish up their meetings.

Tony, the top scientist in SHIELD, was able to decipher the use of lasers with the assistance of his “good assistant,” Wellington Yinsen.

Bureaucratic mismanagement in Doboj kept the leadership from implementing their plans.
The Serbs continue to rampage to the South. Their graffiti is starting to incorporate some particularly crude innuendoes involving Marx’s ears and anal cavity, a small team of foals, three carrots, and whipped cream.
A group of Ukabu Ika have been found in Venice, apparently that is where many of the abandoned pieces of alien hardware came from.
The banked economy is getting quite large, but if the leaders of Red Faction do not provide some direction it is possible that the people of Doboj may seek other leadership.

Empire seems to be the right word in France judging from the size of the new state. Guillaume spent these last months evaluating various classes at the University of Caen and while he was able to attend to some foreign work, his nation began to wander leaderless over these months.
The computers were used to assist the Neter, in fact it was a French computer that determined the exact location and was even able to provide a Satellite picture of the site of the crash. Amun-Ra thanked them for the information, promised to make good on his deal, and has not been heard from since.
The channels are down, all his communication devices have been scrambled, and there is no getting through to Giza. Some cabinet members insist that he is hiding, but word out of Machu Picchu is that other Neter groups also cannot contact Giza. Machu Picchu provided 3 Plasma Rifles as a show of goodwill.
Huge numbers of new citizens have been arriving, despite the Courthouse in Paris, crimes still go unsolved and corruption has continued to emerge. There are really a lot of people showing up lately.
Outside of Bordeaux, an old NATO airfield was uncovered, the security commands were sent to the officer on site and it was opened up to reveal 2 Jets, and enough Fuel to make up for this turn’s driving.

The Wanderer smiles and puts his hands on his hat, “What do you want to know?”

In the South Pacific Epsilon Squadron invested heavily into the construction of a power plant.
Dolphins rejoiced at the new friendship with the Nalese. Many homing beacons have been initiated and Dolphins continue to search for lost technologies. Easter Island is quite pleased with the piety of the Nalese, despite what vicious rumors they might have been told by many others. In return for their assistance the Dolphins have teleported the first of their findings directly to the Makuna Hatata crash site, a still working (if ancient in design) ET Fighter.
The Knights of Mordor, thanks in part to the Nalese help, were able to deal stunning defeats to the Leelah of New Zealand. The first strike came with a virus that debilitated the alien’s APC, offered by another Human resistance group. Without a Hyperspanner the Leelah troops are unable to repair the device. But after this, because of the Nalese lasers that had been provided to them (along with an English translation of the manual) they were able to press the advantage and destroy the soldiers.
The Nalese scavengers were able to spread word of their people, while also recovering a human Jet and 3 Lasers. The lack of the fighter this turn, in addition to the continued ignorance of the operation of Jeeps severely limited their range. A team of horses was offered up by locals, as gifts to the Nalese. Human viruses also crippled another ET Uplink, leaving the group with only one remaining uplink.
Although refugees were largely ignored last turn a large number of humans still migrated to the Makuna Hatata, the most recent 967 humans seem to be causing problems with crime, as some new illicit gambling centers are sapping the resources of the Squadron. Another 2,408 remain at the border requesting admission.

On the outskirts of Johannesburg soldiers from DeBeers met with a Neter Soldier from Cape Town and the remaining Soldier from the original Johannesburg resistance. It was soon discovered that there were only 2 Puumon troops remaining in Johannesburg.
Despite their inferior numbers the Puumon’s staged a fierce last stand. The troops from Cape Town were killed, along with 2 Soldiers from DeBeers. The remaining DeBeers soldier marched victoriously into Johannesburg where, as promised, Carlo offered them half of the technology required to operate Plasma Weapons, he and his remaining soldier are now officially employed by DeBeers.
A Plasma rifle and a laser were found on the defeated Soldiers, 4 Computers were found in buildings, along with a unit of Jets that had somehow survived the war. A satellite was found in the city, but it requires repair. 4 Fuel was found with the Jet but because of the lack of a Fuel Depot only 3 could be recovered. A Courthouse was found still standing in Johannesburg.
One interrogation at a time, ET Utility tools were also mastered over the last months.
The successes of DeBeer’s Army have greatly enhanced their reputation, and 2,068 new employees were brought in over these last two months. There remain another 4,567 applications on file, although the HR director insists that to continue hiring people would likely only lead to redundancies and lower efficiency at this juncture.
The source of the alien air support that ran Carlo and his troops out of Johannesburg before the arrival of DeBeer’s forces has been discovered. 2 weeks ago a group of thieves were discovered attempting to steal the Hyperspanner. These men have been put in solitary confinement and though most refuse to talk about their mission or their point of origin, one simply asks to be returned to his beloved masters at Omicron Wing. Intercepted communications also indicate that Omicron Wing has been working with another group of Tourliski in Dar Es Salaam.

For the Yankee Suns many secrets of Alien technology were uncovered, the assistance provided to 3.82 allowed them to activate Yokohama’s Teleporter as the diligence of their own scientists unlocked the Hyperspanner. The new technology allowed them to gain access to the Okinawa Power Plant, one of the safest and most secure power plants in the world, still operating at full efficiency.
Hackers did not find plans for a faster than light ship in Zeta Wing’s databases, but one programmer did trip a security protocol that wiped all of the information that was there. The Rafiki were true to their word, and made good on their promised technology in exchange for the attempt, 1 Computer was lost.
The Cavalry of the Yankee Suns marched into the ruins of Tokyo equipped with lasers, when setting up their first ambushes many were convinced that it was in fact the squids setting the trap, air support provided recon, and was able to herd some of the Ukabu Ika away from the trap, in hopes of preventing the land troops from being overrun.
The first squid chased the ‘bait’ soldier three blocks right into the ambush and he was quickly overcome, but not before letting out a terrible shriek.
This shriek summoned the remaining units in the city, 4 troops, although their training had degraded to militia status they remained armed and ready to fight.
The first militia retreated, possibly all the way to Sapporo or to the DMZ, both known regions with a strong Alien presence. The second and third militias were easily dealt with, but the final group of militia succeeded in killing a soldier before it was defeated.
Following the liberation of Tokyo no buildings were found still standing. 6 lasers were looted from the defeated soldiers and 3 ET Uplinks and 5 Fuel were found in what appeared to be their headquarters, near a damaged Human Tank that could be easily repaired with the Hyperspanner. Well versed in the use of ET Utility tools, the soldiers were disgusted by the images they found on the ET Uplinks but have returned them to the base for more effective military uses.
1 unit of Jets was found in the Yokohama airport, as well as 3 new computers at the University. 508 new citizens, mostly schoolgirls fleeing from Tokyo, have affiliated themselves with the Yankee Suns.
6 broken computers were recovered in Okinawa; the Hyperspanner could make 3 working computers out of them, but not in a single turn.

The Script Kiddies continued to build their military, sending troops to safeguard the Itaipu Dam, providing the group with a new stable source of electricity. The streets of Rio glow and the population of the Script Kiddies have been holding commemorative beach parties. The future of the economy seems to be only greater and greater heights. 623 new refugees congregated to the Beach parties and never went back.
The 402 Puumons of Brasilia do include small groups who seem outraged about the proximity of human settlers. The elite of the city are excited with the new flow of electricity, but some of the Puumons have started anti-human hate groups in Brasilia. The Puumon Mayor of that Encampment has sworn to crack down on the problem.
The virus crafted by Alexandria University Tech Support was extremely effective and managed to completely cripple the uplinks of the Neter at Giza. They would probably inform people of the problem, possibly even imply the Script Kiddies as the culprits, but all of their communications equipment and their ships have been shut down by the virus.
The Alexandrians have joined the Script Kiddies, bringing their 853 members. They insist that if troops can be sent to their position then they are prepared to begin marching on Giza to take control of the Pyramids by force.
The Rafiki Command Group 3.82 provided the technology for ET Utility Tools in exchange for the help of the Script Kiddies, although no plans were found. Security protocols were tripped by an inferior hacker that the Rafiki had also contracted the job to, and 2 Computers were lost to the security protocols.
The Easter Island Codes seemed crack proof, the Dolphins were quite happy with the results and teleported 2 ET Uplinks to Rio in thanks.
Control was established over Sao Paulo with the arrival of many human settlers. Apparently the city was being occupied by a group of Neter, but the 236 Falcon-headed aliens gladly opened their gates to accept the new settlers. They provided these settlers with a Plasma Rifle and 3 ET Uplinks. The Small-Class Fighters that they had flown in on had been shot down en route to Macchu Piccu, but the ET Fighters could be repaired with the use of a Hyperspanner. Some Refugees say that a group of peaceful visitors deep in the Amazon calling themselves the Lilin possess a Hyperspanner.
Although the Neter have been enthusiastic about allowing humans into Sao Paulo, they have been repeatedly asking how long it has been since the settlers talked to Jesus, like, really prayed.
Alexandrian University IT Support provided 5 Computers, 1 Naval Craft, and 3 Firearms and 2 Militia when they joined the Script Kiddies. There is a still working Laboratory in Alexandria University.
The persistence of Corruption problems in the Economy has led some Legal Professors to advocate the creation of a court system to maintain order. If a Courthouse were built in one of the Encampments they believe it would help stem the problem, but mostly they are starting to sound like the economics professors when they talk about the problems of training and processing so many people at once. The Science professors are working late hours in Rio and in Alexandria trying to figure out how to operate both human and alien technologies; they are extremely worried about their capacity to meet any deadlines.
Attempts to reprogram GSM-8BR were unsuccessful because of the lack of computers to do it; technicians were tied up all turn helping foreign powers.

The Resistance and it’s now impressive economy began to extend their influence through foreign channels, and with their militias.
Their computers were able to work with the Knights of Mordor by helping to create a virus that shut down the alien’s APC, the Knights of Mordor then followed this up with a direct offensive with lasers provided by some group of rogue aliens. The Leelah groups have been beaten off of the island, and the Knights of Mordor have provided a Naval Craft in thanks.
Closer to home Leelah militias to the NorthEast continue to defy the Resistance, and some have even conducted raids into Las Vegas and Boulder City, some fear that if these groups are not dealt with they will soon threaten Primm. The panic has stunted population growth, many flee to Los Angeles, but others have even fled North, into unknown territory and out of Resistance controlled lands. Enough to make up for the losses and also 403 new settlers still found their way in, most of them refugees from the repressive San Francisco monarchy. These groups brought 2 new Firearms and a stolen bit of technology from the Neter Oligarchs, they call it a Hyperspanner and it might allow the technicians to repair the Resistance’s downed ET Fighter.
The news out of Austin is that it has been totally taken over by some new pan-American Drug Cartel, and the group is known to be heavily armed. In Mexico it has been rumored that this cartel is hiring alien hit squads to do their dirty work.
1 Militia of Succubi was found outside of San Diego, the Resistance Militia and the Alien group battled each other to extermination, no survivors returned from either side. The fate of San Diego remains a mystery.
Edwards Air force base was found undefended, but the facilities still contained 2 Fuel, 2 Jets, and 4 Computers.
Most of the Fuel was used up by the extensive driving. In Phoenix the ruins were found habitable but abandoned, along with 5 Computers, 3 Lasers, and a Plasma Rifle.
2 Computers were lost this turn to Rafiki viruses that cut off the fans and melted the motherboards. Some are concerned that aliens will turn their PC into a bomb.
The Economy has seen substantial growth over the last few months but some of the smugglers who bring in supplies note that the Resistance probably won’t get any more profitable without a consistent source of electricity for the population. Their Economy could stay stuck at 5 until they find one.

Not far away, The Vanguard completed their siege of the Valley of Mexico.
The Jets struck first, large birds in strange metal approximations, flying over the Wall and targeting the troops with Mind Control rays, easily destroying them.
This left 3 Laser wielding soldiers and a Plasma equipped reinforcement against three laser equipped troops behind a wall. These troops however were on the bad side of a siege and had not received any of the reinforcements they had hoped for from other factions. Two laser equipped troops were lost in the battle, but Los Communados has been eliminated. The Nitros have returned the place to its human name, Mexico City. 3 Lasers and a Mind Control Ray were looted from the enemies, 5 new ET Uplinks were found in the city along with an ET APC, a large tank designed to carry multiple (2+the Pilot) troops to a deployment and to provide armored support for them. Apparently the Neter had been trying to teach humans to use it and had failed horribly. 4 Fuel was found stockpiled in the PeMex Headquarters.
Cartel del Golfo has made good on their payments as well, but has other targets for extermination. An increasing amount of the Cartel’s traffic now goes directly through Vanguard bases, and the organizations work more and more closely following the victory in Mexico City.
The city has been occupied and contains a wall, a farm, and a group of power plants that are in serious disrepair. This can be overcome, the most technically proficient members of the Vanguard note, and they tend to make smug remarks mocking the Neter for their lack of technical aptitude, before noting that they will need a Hyperspanner.
Another group of Nitros in Veracruz made contact with the Vanguard, they claim to have a stockpile of Plasma Weapons and a Hyperspanner.

The battle to control Manaus saw the Lilin preparing their Tank and sending it in with a Plasma Rifle and 2 Laser equipped Soldiers. The Laser equipped Soldiers were lost in brutal confrontations with the surprisingly large number of militia defenders, protected by a wall, but in the end the Tank and Plasma Rifle equipped infantry were able to march into the center of the town.
Many nearby civilians, and also the population of a local political prison that was supposed to have shut down in 1983 were very excited at the defeat of the MPs. Brazil faces a brave new day, and 508 new citizens have joined the group in Manaus. They bring with them 4 Automobiles and 2 Fuel, enough to make up for the cost of the Tank driving to Manaus.
In Manaus a Human Jet, 4 Fuel, 3 Lasers (that the MPs still struggled to understand), were found with 6 Computers. An unlaunched satellite was found in the base, and the technicians of the Lilin are confident that they can make it work with the technology on hand if the Fuel and Economy are invested into launching it.
In Exchange for the help of the Lilin over these last months, and in recognition of their Piety, the Dolphins of Easter Island have teleported 2 ET Uplinks and a crate of Tinfoil Hats.
The construction of a Fuel Depot has been accomplished with remarkable ease over the last months, as have upgrades to increase the output of the farms. A particular brand of Circle worship focused on the physical act of love has grown extremely popular in the Amazon. Its foremost ambassadors are a class of individuals, provided for by the Lilin as a whole, who offer their sexual services freely in an attempt to more perfectly understand the nature of being.
With the genetic program to create a more uniform race, the orgies of the Lilin are known far and wide to be somewhat freaky affairs involving sometimes fully adapted Lilin at the same time as many of the component races and other groups who are in the process of developing into Lilin. At the same time they are considered deeply honorable, and are conducted with all the pomp and ritual of any worthy religious ceremony. In the most graphic way possible, it is clear that we are all one.
101 survivors from the fallen city of Los Communado, Neter and Human alike, have sought refuge in the Amazon, though the Neter are considering moving on, they have heard that the fortress at Machu Picchu has been reactivated.
The services of the practitioners of the Lilin’s practice of the Circle and the call of the Lilin to bring in all people has brought another 792 refugees, many people are excited about the possibility to adapt their genetics to the ‘Higher Form’ of the Lilin. Instant reincarnation, Instant Karma.
Corruption is a problem, many of the new Refugees are smuggling illicit chemicals and the Lilin are not seeing a full cut of their economic contribution. The higher officers have proposed the construction of a Courthouse, but on the other hand a particular escort who Qarinah has recently grown fond of strongly recommends that the group instead should gain control of a reliable source of power, so that the economy can continue to grow and the group can capitalize on the size of the population rather than dealing with short term problems.

East Africa continues to be shaken by the might of the Shrimp, as their co-operation with the Rafiki of Command Group 3.82 allowed them to unlock the secrets of the crashed ET Fighter, although the technicians will need to learn to operate a Hyperspanner still before they can repair it. It turns out that this job was contracted to multiple groups, and one of these groups tripped a security protocol that destroyed 1 Computer at Kilimanjaro, no plans were found in the database. Their own scientists managed to discover the technology behind the Rafiki lasers.
The territory of the Lemon Banana Shrimp has become a beacon of religious toleration, drawing many new settlers, 643 new refugees now make the encampments in Kilimanjaro their home, and a full 1,782 remain outside the boundaries and request admission. The newly appointed Shrimpy McNinja has denied them citizenship at the moment, over concerns that such a large influx of immigrants would slow down the Shrimpese economy while the groups were being properly settled; he favors a more gradual approach.
The computer technicians were able to gain substantial information about the nearby groups; the Succubi in Bukavu are reported to have an ET APC, a Hyperspanner, and 2 Lasers according to stealthier intrusions that were not discovered. Before the computers probing the Dar Es Salaam Tourliski were shut down they found the group in possession of an ET Fighter and 3 Lasers. Each group has 4 ET Uplinks.
The Tourliski of Dar Es Salaam are apparently working with a larger group of Rafiki deserters operating from somewhere outside of Africa, there has been a great deal of troop movement in their base and multiple air based reconnaissance missions that leave many Shrimpese unsettled. It is possible that the Succubi of Bukavu might be potential allies if there are groups who want to incorporate them back into the horde against their will, they also seem less expansionistic and only slightly hostile to outsiders.
Scavengers this turn were able to locate 6 new Computers, 2 Lasers an ET APC and a Hyperspanner. On their return to the base though, they encountered resistance from 2 militia groups, apparently child soldiers, who claimed affiliation with Al Shabaab. Although both militias were quickly dispatched, with one of them retreating towards Mogadishu and the other severely outgunned, the remaining problems of child soldiers still trouble many Banana Shrimpese.
Corruption has become an ingrained practice as the economy grows, but Shrimpy McNinja proposes that this could be alleviated with the construction of a Courthouse where the corrupt can be held accountable.

The Tourliski of Omicron Wing spent much of the turn scavenging.
The fighters sent to Dar Es Salaam were able to perform a number of recon missions, and established the main areas of local threat. A group of Succubi in Bukavu have not responded to radio transmissions, and a group of humans near the Earth Mountain, Kilimanjaro were found possibly hacking into their database. There is a large, poorly trained army in Mogadishu with their own plans for Africa, and a group of Nitros continue to battle for Mzuzu against human insurgents. The immediate area seems ready for conquest.
Zeta Wing’s plans for a jump capable ship were destroyed this turn, when their security protocols wiped their drives in order to protect the information from a staggering number of human hackers. Zeta Wing has traced the problem back to a Rafiki Command Group in England and plan on using their fighter to attack that base, if Omicron Wing will coordinate an assault with them. No land troops could be sent, and so the territory could not be held, but the destruction of land troops and equipment should be enough to keep these Rafiki from meddling further in matters that have nothing to do with them.
The Puumon group in Johannesburg was routed from the city this turn, and many have been hitchhiking to Dar Es Salaam, they bring sour news of the state of South Africa, it seems that much of that nation has been retaken by various human forces. Neter seem to be cooperating with these humans, and these traitors must also be dealt with.
The manager of the Rogun Dam was willing to part with his staff for a meager 2 Economy; these are now some of the most loyal forced servants of Omicron Wing. The level of care they receive has been widely documented and spread near and wide in order to encourage immigration, many humans are quite impressed with the relative ease of their lives in these turbulent times.
Scavengers this turn found another crashed Carrier, although none of the survivors were found onboard. An ET APC, a crashed Fighter, a Hyperspanner, and 3 ET Uplinks were found on the ship though. The fighter has been repaired with the Hyperspanner as was 1 of the ET Uplinks lost last turn.
History will hopefully forget the attempts of a group of human indentured laborers who brushed up on their English, spent many hours practicing Boer accents and formulated a plan to steal a coveted Hyperspanner from the DeBeers Corporation. They smuggled themselves onto a commercial craft and had sweet talked their way into the Supply Room where the tools were kept before they were discovered. They did this in private to protect the plausible deniability of whoever it was that made it extremely clear to them who it was who he had heard had a Hyperspanner, and why Omicron Wing needed it more. The crash site was discovered mere days after they had embarked and no one trusts any codes well enough to send them a recall message.

The leadership of SHIELD remained locked in meetings, unable to respond to the outside world.
The militias outside seem to have organized into a group called the “Millitant Grammarians of Massachusetts” who pledge to reunite New England behind their leadership. They are headquartered in Boston and led by Avril Incandenza. Some in SHIELD worry that they will send troops to the Rocket Base in Albany before SHIELD’s leadership finish up their meetings.

Bureaucratic mismanagement in Doboj kept the leadership from implementing their plans.
The Serbs continue to rampage to the South. Their graffiti is starting to incorporate some particularly crude innuendoes involving Marx’s ears and anal cavity, a small team of foals, three carrots, and whipped cream.
A group of Ukabu Ika have been found in Venice, apparently that is where many of the abandoned pieces of alien hardware came from.
The banked economy is getting quite large, but if the leaders of Red Faction do not provide some direction it is possible that the people of Doboj may seek other leadership.

Empire seems to be the right word in France judging from the size of the new state. Guillaume spent these last months evaluating various classes at the University of Caen and while he was able to attend to some foreign work, his nation began to wander leaderless over these months.
The computers were used to assist the Neter, in fact it was a French computer that determined the exact location and was even able to provide a Satellite picture of the site of the crash. Amun-Ra thanked them for the information, promised to make good on his deal, and has not been heard from since.
The channels are down, all his communication devices have been scrambled, and there is no getting through to Giza. Some cabinet members insist that he is hiding, but word out of Machu Picchu is that other Neter groups also cannot contact Giza. Machu Picchu provided 3 Plasma Rifles as a show of goodwill.
Huge numbers of new citizens have been arriving, despite the Courthouse in Paris, crimes still go unsolved and corruption has continued to emerge. There are really a lot of people showing up lately.
Outside of Bordeaux, an old NATO airfield was uncovered, the security commands were sent to the officer on site and it was opened up to reveal 2 Jets, and enough Fuel to make up for this turn’s driving.

Kneph hovers over the ruins at Machu Picchu, on direct order of clanleader Amun Ra, to prepare the next site and set up an independent group there. He hasn’t heard from Amun Ra in weeks, though, there seems to be a major problem with the hardware in Giza right now.
Why did this war end so fast? There are a number of different theories; Kneph is familiar with those who blame the Nalese, the psychotic war frenzies of the humans, the limited lifespans, the strange and fanatical faiths.
But here, activating yet another relic it is clear to Kneph what had happened here. These were not even his ancient ancestors, Kneph’s own grandfather, Anubis, had been a member of the expedition to secure Earth. Anubis had died shortly before the Rafiki negotiations began; Kneph had only been a few mere centuries old.
“The stockpile seems secure, sir.”
“Can production be restarted?”
“The site has endured only superficial damage; most of the access points to the secured areas have remained blocked.”
Kneph knows the true reason behind Earth’s strange resistance, the source of all the human weirdness. The first of a new generation of sentient races, there were others who were near the human’s development levels, but unlike Earth the older species like his hadn’t turned their planets into constant unregulated experiments. His own people had started it, but they had hardly been alone. The Neter had set up Earth as a final stand, a well armed bunker in the event of calamity, and offered the native species a faith for them to share in the hopes that one day, if it was needed, the Neter could always find a safe place.
But other older species had set themselves up as Gods here, fought petty little wars, and let the humans die in their names.
And the Dolphins! The Dolphins had moved to the planet and lived according to their primitivist customs, frequently even taunting the humans in direct ways.
And then there are the scientific experiments, the abductions, and the various...

Hyperspanner Repairs and You
A Hyperspanner may repair 2 things in a turn. If it repairs 2 Computers broken by viruses then you get 1 Computer back, if it repairs 2 ET Uplinks you get 2 ET uplinks. This is in response to questions I got this turn, and I’ll admit, it wasn’t in the rules because I hadn’t thought of it yet. Thank you, inquisitive minds. I’m adding it to the rules.
On Deadlines
Sometimes I am told that I need to be less shrouded in mystery when it comes to my deadlines. I don’t like deadlines though, it is my opinion that they breed brinksmanship. I can’t update next Saturday if I get all the orders next Friday Night/Saturday Morning, I’d rather do it a little at a time as I get orders. I start working on the update when I get the first orders, I finish sometime after I get the last orders, or on the Saturday after next if I don’t get all the orders and I have to make up things for people’s factions.
The point here being, go ahead and send orders. Even if you might change them, I am totally open to rewriting/reworking parts of the update as I go along, in fact I probably will anyways (Freeman sent his orders first, for the first week if you had looked at his part of the update you would have seen three sentences amounting to a rough outline of what is there now), everything can be edited easily until the point that I post it, generally on a Saturday, two weeks maximum if I don’t receive all the orders. If I haven’t got your orders on the Wednesday before that then you’ll get my ‘friendly reminder’ PM.
The only thing I hate having to change on the fly is stats, and in light of this I don’t update anyone’s stats until I’m about ready to post, while I do a final proofreading, checking stats against the update and also your orders.
In conclusion, if I have all the orders next week I will post the update. If not it will be 2 Weeks. If Nedim is the only person I have not heard from next week then I’ll post an update and NPC his faction.

I spoilered the story so it would be less distracting, but there has always been a lot of good information there. A lot of the time I get questions that could be answered there, and I want people to know it is available all the time, right there, post 1.

Why did this war end so fast? There are a number of different theories; Kneph is familiar with those who blame the Nalese, the psychotic war frenzies of the humans, the limited lifespans, the strange and fanatical faiths.
But here, activating yet another relic it is clear to Kneph what had happened here. These were not even his ancient ancestors, Kneph’s own grandfather, Anubis, had been a member of the expedition to secure Earth. Anubis had died shortly before the Rafiki negotiations began; Kneph had only been a few mere centuries old.

Kneph knows the true reason behind Earth’s strange resistance, the source of all the human weirdness. The first of a new generation of sentient races, there were others who were near the human’s development levels, but unlike Earth the older species like his hadn’t turned their planets into constant unregulated experiments. His own people had started it, but they had hardly been alone. The Neter had set up Earth as a final stand, a well armed bunker in the event of calamity, and offered the native species a faith for them to share in the hopes that one day, if it was needed, the Neter could always find a safe place.
But other older species had set themselves up as Gods here, fought petty little wars, and let the humans die in their names.
And the Dolphins! The Dolphins had moved to the planet and lived according to their primitivist customs, frequently even taunting the humans in direct ways.
