Pizzas: What is the best one and where is it from?

The traditional answer to this question is: Grimaldi's, in Brooklyn.

I see Lombardi's gets some dap in the first reply! I've been there, and it was very good. I haven't been to Grimaldi's.

But the truly best pizza is "pizza from your favorite pizzeria."

No the best pizza is the one that the most people say is the best pizza. ;)

no the best pizza is the one I say is the best. I am Jos Ballenbak, zombiehunter and professional pizza critic in the zombiehunter weekly magazine.

Yeah, they know how to make pizza in New York. That said, I don't think it's really important where the best pizza is because it's a dish that is rather hard to make a balls of. I have loved pizza all my life, probably my favourite food, and I have to say that the majority of places I've got it in the US, EU and Australia have been fairly equal in quality. If I had to pick I would say New York, but could that be placebo NY pizza enjoyment? It could certainly have been the fact that I just enjoyed the fact I was eating NYpizza...

The Nuke LaLoosh, Johnny's Tavern, Lawrence, KS. It's a thin crust, which is the only downside, but the other than that the crust is about perfect. Not too chewy, not too crunchy. Toppings are first rate, and I can only eat two slices, they're so big. This particular pizza is all meat.... none of that silly veggies or fruit for this pie!
