I'm not really sure how you can get much worse than drugging, raping, sodomizing a 13 year old child. Easily the equal of murder.

As much as I despise Polanski, there are people out there who do this sort of thing regularly. There are also drug barons and other crime lords who encourage such behaviour out there. While I would very much enjoy seeing Polanski rot and/or die horribly - I agree with RRW 100% on this - I recognise that in the grand scheme of things he's a bit player.
