Portal 2

Really? I keep hearing that the puzzles in Portal 2 are generally easier than the first, and I made it through the original without any help at all. I assumed I'd do the same with two, given the early reports, but are the puzzles actually harder in some cases? Or is it impossible to compare given the new mechanics in 2?

I keep hearing that the test chambers in Portal 2 only allow you to place portals where you need them... you just need to figure out when and how you do so.

Not so much the test chambers, but definitely in the sections outside them. As I got further along each new section became less a 'where's the optimum portal placements', and more 'where's the obvious and practically sign-posted locations I can place these, and in which order to I jump into them?'

So yeah. I found Portal 2 a lot easier than the first game.

Definately truthful. I didn't notice that until after a few times I beat the game however. Even so, the last test chambers proved to be going in that direction as well, which was somewhat understandable I suppose.

I'm really looking forward to that DLC. Now that I've beat it in both single-player and co-op, I really want the challenge-levels. And preferably lots of them. :)

No guide? You must be quite patient. Me? I had to look up in Youtube walk through videos to get pass one or two levels.

I asked my brother for help on one; it turns out the solution to that one was a spot where I didn't realize I could place a portal. When he showed me that, I figured it out instantly.

The puzzle that took me the longest was the one where you have to drop the blue gel on the three turrets across from a barrier. I guess I spent a good 20 or so minutes on that.

Spoiler :
I actually spent about 10 minutes on Wheatley's first test-chamber (you know, the one-hit-solve one) because I wanted to see what I could do to not do it twice. Still having issues with that to be honest.

Have any of you guys seen all of the easter eggs listed here?

Page 2 = my mind blown.

Its still $49.99

It likely won't fall for awhile. It's done very well at $60 so valve will probably keep it there for until the first DLC pack in early summer.

Spoiler :
I was stunned in disbelief at the coincidental pony references that added up and particularly of course the ending, explained at least why there even existed all those spoilers and images I was trying to avoid.

Luna and Wheatley :D

Spoiler :
What pony references?

Spoiler :
The whole moon deal. It obviously wasn't on purpose, just happens to be hilariously coincidental
