The Byzantine Empire, 1200 AD.

It may look impressive, but my northern flank has essentially collapsed under Kwarazemian pressure. Five turns ago it was at Tabriz, and now there are at least four armies closing on an almost undefended Tiflis and Baku.

A fortuitous turn around...

While kicking Fatamid [behind] their last family member died (of natural causes) and left the Hijaz as rebels. Thus, they are now mine. Several armies whooped some Kwarazamian [rear] and I pushed all the way to Rayy. With the Mongols arriving a few turns ago, I felt comfortable pushing harder, but when I found an army in my rear and another full army greatly outnumbered while besieging Isfahan, I took the opportunity to sue for peace and seal my gains. Thus it was.

Those damn Italians have done nothing but harass and annoy me all through the game. My march into Rome was the first step on my cleansing of Italy.

Correct.

Although France have been faithful allies since the game began. It was more the UP I was worried about, but in the pic above you should be able to make out I own Amsterdam, and earlier today I destroyed the UP good and proper.

Obviously I know you ditched it, I was asking as to the manner of the ditching. Did you sell it to the French? Trade it for some colonial possession with a nice plantation? Get some techs?

I sold to French on first turn for 4000 gold, which funded my army for the rushing of Morocco and rest of Africa.

So naval invasions are definitely in, I took Hispaniola from Spain as the British, and the Maratha Confederacy, apparently bored of owning all of India (I've been trying to get an army over there but haven't been able to yet due to now a second war with Spain and a war with France where I accidentally destroyed France), anyways, Maratha landed a small army of 500+ including howitzers there. I managed to kill 400 of them but my militia defence crumbled at the very end of the battle :/

Stupid Maratha has been nothing but a thorn in my side the entire game, previously attacking my trade fleets with it's magically gained fleets of European ships it really shouldn't know how to build.

I really really hate that militia units cost me over $450 each, as I hate having to break up my army for several turns in order to capture only a few regions. Or a cheap garrison unit would be nice.

The empire can be seen in the minimap, but the screen itself is on the final provinces which brought my province count to 70.

Print screen, then paste into paint.

You have to "paste" them into Paint or a similar program.

So I press print-screen and take a screenshot...Now where do I go to find the screenshot? For example, civ IV screenshots appear in the "_civ4screenshots" folder.

You press print screen. You then go into an image editor, such as Paint, Paint.NET, or GIMP. You press ctrl-v. This pastes the screenshot into the image file. You may then save this image in whatever format you want, in whatever location you want. You can save them in specially named folders; you can save them in your porn folder.

This is not rocket science.
