Pre-GodNES

OOC, Masada. OOC. That means that none of the gods care about this, only the characters.

Then it goes ahead, and I will order them to ritually sacrifice the dying and those killed in battle.

OOC: It was IC... I might just accept that Manatane has a habbit of speaking in third person

It is areeable.

OOC: No, I (das, not Ka) meant that my previous inquiries on the matter of theogony were completely out-of-character.

In regards to The Great Llama not taking his part in creation seriously, i can assure you that this is no joke. Hundreds of animal-gods have existed in real life, As The Manatane points out. I intend to play this game seriously, just because i decided to use interdimentional Psychic Llamas as the basis of my Creation story does not mean im taking the piss.

i put a lot of thought into the backstory of Llamtopia, The Great Llama and his followers, and feel that i am contributing just as much as some of the other gods here.

anyway, enough of that.

this is what i want to create next. im not sure how much of this i can achieve with my current DI so heres a list of the order of creation:

1. Create forests of floating islands
2. create endless rivers flowing from my Temple.
3. Create lakes on floating islands.
4. fill the holes left from the islands with water, very deep lakes.
5. make the land on the top right island fertile on the north side of the river, make most of the top left island fertile.
6. create a long mountan chain to the north west of New Llamopia
7. create a race of 100 humanoids*** on the top right island, south of the river.
8. Create A Llama Magi to lead the new tribe of Llamanoids.
9. fill the forest on the north east island with eddible wildlife and plants, put fish in the lake on this island.
10. Create a large fiver comples flowing from the mountain chain to feed the lakes under the islands
11. Create a large forest east of the mountain chain.
12. Create fertile land around the large river on the ground.

*** The Great Llama has created many things in his existance, but never one that walks on 2 legs like these strange 'humans' that these other gods are creating. he decides to make a race of Llamanoids im mimicry of these strange beings, however he will draw from the greater aspects of his other creations, namely an inate inteligence and ability to affect their environment in very minor ways. he will also give them aposable hooves in mimicry of the humans hands.

(great map by the way Zxcvbnm)

The Great Llama: to Szok
the great llama greets you and recognises your mastery over knowledge. One hopes that we may co-operate and work together to make a new Creation.
does Szok find this agreeable? provided she does not interfere with The Great Llamas duties?

The Great Llama: to Amadea
The Great Llama is intregued by this notion of 'love', perhaps Amadea would be inclined to teach his new llamanoid followers of this concept? if she would be willing to do this the Great Llama would endeavour to create some regular humans to worship her in the safety of new Llamopia. and if His own temple is any indicator, The great llama would encourage creativity in her followers to raise grand monuments to the Goddess of love.

The Creations of Manatane.

1-3 DI: Increase the size of the Greatest Ocean, with the aim of dividing the world into 2 Continents, running along an East West Axis, running between Dur-Sharrukin and Khaza's Realm bordering Llamatopia in East and running to the edge of the map in the West.
1 DI: Create a Pole in the direct center of the world, this will be for the Penguins of the Manatane.
1 DI: To create Great Kelp bed and to populate them with fish and molluscs and all other forms of life, running preferably the whole length of the Ocean this will be for the Manatanes Otters.
1 DI: To create Islands and Crags along the shore that the Puffins of the Manatane can breed on.
3 DI: To be spent on creating one of each type of the Manatanes creatures.
1 DI: To be spent on humans to create a settlement at the fertile rivermouth near the currently small Greatest Ocean.
Any additional DI left over are to be put into making the Oceans friendly to the creatures of the Manatane.

Szok, I would like to propose a partnership with you. I wish for my beloved gnomes to share in the splendor of your grand library but they are not meant to leave their paradise glade. Thus, I ask that you grant them their own small library, your altar of sorts, where they may glimpse the greatness of knowledge. In return I propose to give gifts of gadgets and devices to be on display in your holiest temple. Should you have an specific gadgeteering needs I would be delighted to tackle a problem for you.

Great Undying Kol, my gnomish glade lies within the grasp of your icy fingers. I ask only that you stay your wrath from my small community but punish any who dare to enter from without with the chilling death. I will see to it that my creations respect your power and do not wander from what is theirs.

OOC: I've been away for like a day and this thread is like 7 pages! If there were any pre-thread diplo directed at Aecles, please PM me. And were there any important things I've missed?

OOC: There's the beginnings of a map; and more gods.

I will expand my forest to the eastern mountains of Gillibaba's realm and the northern mountains of llamatopia.

There will be a small river flowing southwest from my mountain.

1/2 way down this river, in a clearing, there is a village of 100 people, called Thrick,

At the western foot of my mountain, there is another village, Fornheim, also of 100 people.

I will make the forest bountiful and full of deer and rabbits and birds etc, for my people to hunt. Oh also, there should be evergreen trees on my mountain.

I will then spawn a Winter Hare in the forest, it will wander close to the villages and when it reaches each one, a man will see it and interpret it as a blessing. The Hare will tell them that the tribes are welcome to stay and hunt as long as they respect and worship Kol. It tells them of a door at the top of the mountain, that it is the entrance to Kol's realm, and one day, the most faithful will be summoned there, to hunt and feast for eternity. (something that would appeal to my followers)

Your people have nothing to fear from me,I have little interest in ''paradise glades''. I will inform my followers that they must stay away from the mountains to the west, and I will send my Hare to watch at the entrance to your glade. My people, who know the great ledgends and have heard me condemn the entering of the glade, will see the Hare and run many miles. I am not a wrathful God, but I'm sure I can make an exception once in a while.

May I ask, though? Why are your people not allowed beyond the glade? They could wander in my land, hunt, feast with my people. They would be welcome.

OOC: I'm generally a good god. Generally.

My people are yet young in mind and heart and I wish to shape them to be ambassadors of my values before they are let out into the world. In time I hope they will spread their curiosities across the world.

From Darnang
To Other Gods

In a world of equal powers, it is best to be in a power block. Is anybody willing to either form a pantheon with me or let me into one?

This is what I have created:

At the dot above Mal I created some plains and forest with animals in them for my people to hunt. I created a tribe of 80 Sylan and 10 Danouri to guard them.4 DI

I created a village for my Sylan and in the center of the village I place a temple/fortress made from diamond.

With my star in the middle of it this temple shines brightly and blesses the occupants of my first village with increased strength, intelligence and wisdom. 2 DI

I expanded my borders a bit and add a river which flows though the village. 1DI

I created an Arch-Danouri to be my champion.I give the Arch-Danouri, who shall be know as Thomas ( a guy called Thomas is one of my best friends) a Circlet of Wisdom and make him the first ruler of the tribe. I send he visions on how to hunt, farm and fish. 3 DI

War and Empires.

Hmmm.... Ok why not. In times to come my people will be great warriors and warlords, when the time comes, I will ssend forth my Fenir to destroy our enemies!

I am the God of winter and Hunting.

Which area on the map is your realm? Mine is the mountain at the top center.

I technically don't have a Realm, but Mine is the river north of the Greatest Ocean. Earthly wars will be no problem for us- I decide the result of any Earthly battle.

ORDER Amendments:
I spend a third of my DI on extending the river (without the fertillity boost), having it turn around and head in the direction of Kol's Realm. A third is spent on populating all areas created by me with humans. A sixth is spent on getting them to fight, and a sixth on teaching them agriculture.

From Darnang
To Gillibada

How about you join our Pantheon too? I can't speak for Kol, but I am willing to let the values you support to a large extent be the values of my warring tribes as well.

To: Gillibada, Darnang
From: Kol the Undying

I would be more then willing for Gillibada to join the pantheon if he so wishes.

I'm going to add our realms to the map, when I'm done I'll upload it and you can say if its alright. Then zxc can just copy-paste it onto the main one. :)

EDIT: Is this ok?

I was making a river anyway, so I thought I'd connect it to yours.
