Thanks Lord_Iggy, you truly are a God of Knowledge

In the Pre-NES phase you can create 10 things in the world, after making a god for yourself. These include (but aren't limited to)
Create terrain: you decide what the terrain of roughly about a square inch area is (2.5 x 2.5 cm on my monitor). This decides what kind of a world the world is.
Create realm: you create the entrance of your realm somewhere
Spawn creatures: you can spawn different kinds of creatures in the world. Either animal packs or 3 DI worth of mythical creatures of your own. Animal packs may die very quickly in areas they can't survive in.
Spawn humans: you can spawn a primitive tribe of 100 humans somewhere. Remember that they must be able to survive.

Provisionally:
- Create several desert areas around and north of Mal (~4 things);
- Also, create a few lesser mountains nearby (1 thing);
- Create a tribe of 150 Polematians to dwell at and near Mal (3 things);
- Create a human tribe at the northern edge of the desert (1 thing);
- Create a large, intimidating two-edged axe, infuse it with a portion of my daemonic essence and enchant it to call out to great heroes and ambitious people in general, tempting them to prove their worth by fighting their way towards Mal and claiming this powerful weapon that, unbeknown to them, will turn its bearer into my thrall (1 thing).

EDIT: Changed my actions a bit, and settled on this this.

I will spend a sixth of my DI on teaching the humans agriculture, a sixth on getting them to fight, and a third on extending the river (though I don't spend DI on making the further river more fertile). The remaining third will be spent on making more.

Soltalos decides to create some more so I create a village for my Sylan and in the center of the village I place a temple/fortress made from diamond. With my star in the middle of it this temple shines brightly and blesses the occupants of my first village with increased strength, intelligence and wisdom. Then I expand my borders a bit and add a river which flows though the village. After that I create an Arch-Danouri (will update stats) to be my champion.

Yes I was meaning physical light, but I wasn't meaning the sun in particular. I was talking it more in terms of energy rather than actual solar light. I will promptly change my power to be clearer in definition. The type I have is usually more of a negative nature used to incinerate and cause explosions.

Provisionally:
~ One major chain of Mountains and Hills around and in my nation(~2 things);
~ Also, create a series of cliffs near the shoreline(1 thing);
~ Create Savanna all around the areas in addition to the Mountains and Hills
~ Create one (UU) Bird (5 things);
- Create a human tribe at the costal part of the nation(1 thing);

Amadea continues to spread lave passion and the need for sex across the world :)

Ah right I claim the Sun as in Varcia: In Heaka's Name Soltalos was a Sun God and we don't have a Sun God yet and I also claim spiritual light as in wisdom and enlightenment. Will edit stats.

I propose an alliance of the Lords of Light. May the Darkness of this world fear us! What do you say Jagnnatha will you accept?

What I've already done:
1. Create some grasslands, a small forest, and a very small lake near the southeastern point : ~3 DI
2. populate it with a tribe of 100 people : 1 DI
3. and with some normal animals (deer, cows, etc) : 1 DI

What Nyar will do:
1. Create a small river from the lake for some more fertile soil for the villagers to farm : ~1 DI
2. Give a vision to the leader of the village teaching him how to farm well : 1 DI
3. Create 2 Farm Slaves. ((Newer creature added to my stats and stats below.))

creature:
name: Farm Slave
description: Humanoid in appearence, but slightly shorter than the average human and has green skin. Can Create farming implements and help faithful villagers farm. When Plant Beasts are created these are the first things to be destroyed. Very weak creatures serving only one purpose.
cost: 1 for 1 DI

Perhaps the mod could make us some character sheets? To tell us how much DI we have?

10 Bits of Creation for Your Consideration

4 Things What Been Done By Mateivahchata:

- 1 Thing: Impossible to Scale Mountain
- 1 Thing: Dur-Sharrukin village/plains
- 2 Things: 200 Villagers in Dur-Sharrukin

6 Things What Yet Need Doing By Mateivahchata:

- 2 Things: Two more 100 man tribes around Dur-Sharrukin
- 2 Things: Massive Temple-Fortress Atop the Mountain

I'm just going to summarize what i have created: (does terrain count as those 10 things created?)

3 tribes (100 people in each)
1 Fire bird.

I will, if terrain does not count, add 400 people to one of the cities near the river (i don't care which)

the remaining 2 items I have will be used to create:
1) a priesthood devoted to me
2) a ring of power forged in the fiery pit at the entrance to my realm. (this ring gives a very small part of my power to the wearer (namely destruction and renewal) I'll keep the ring hidden in my realm, but spread rumors about it...

Hmmm there seems to be huts near Manatane... Yummy!

The Manatee can defer your devouring till later, provided that Manatane gets fed.

From: Manatane
To: Amadea

Is the Manatane going to get the Manatees marriage proposal answered? And the Manatane is of the understanding that honouring yourself leads to more children (which are of course not eaten by the Manatane, the Mantane likes to crush hard skulls) but children it appears do grow into adults… the Manatane finds this confusing but does not really care why it is so. The Manatane can find it appears find some common ground with Amadea if the Manatane gets a solemn declaration that Amadea will influence The Manatees fodder to reproduce the Manatane will move Amadea down the list of gods to be devoured.

@Fuschia pray explain how you would go about refuting my argument...(its not my intention to turn it into a flame war, but i would be interested because to me it would seem to be impossible to refute, given that the characteristics ascribed to animals are subjective by nature and why some animals have gods and others do not appears to me to be arbitary.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_worship

People worshipped in OTL Sheep... which is kind of amusing if it was not a damming indictment of their sanity. And yes I will be playing seriously.

@Creation Myth

I don’t think it matters, The Manatee is going to justify why it wants to eat everything, with a Paradise lost story :)

Standardization doesn’t matter because I fail to see why gods cant lie or manipulate events to suit themselves, the only people who are going to know the truth are the gods themselves (and I doubt they will be un-partisan witnesses)

For instance imagine asking Lucifer about his fall from Heaven and compare that to what the Michael would say. Now think of what all the different religious groups would imagine Lucifer and Michael to say? And that’s assuming that Shiva didn’t storm in and say “Your story doesn’t matter this matters…”

Well, ofcourse we can lie, and we will. But it would be nice to know what truth we are trying to conceal first. ;) Understand that this is largely from an OOC perspective: the gods must've come form somewhere, especially if they only now started to create the world, so where did they come from (you'll have to agree that there is a certain difference between being born together from a cosmic egg and being created randomly in a nightmare of an Elder God, if only inasmuch as it would affect the "diplomacy")?

Anyway, apparently, a greater deity created them and sent them off to run the world-plane (into the ground), but there are some additional details I'd like to know as well.

A ram is a perfectly reasonable animal to worship.

Order amendment- I cut out equally from the DI war incitment and agricultural funds to tell the humans in the river area to sacrifice all their dying and all those dying or close to dead in battle to the Manatee ritualistically. Nobody can interfere once a soldier is at a certain point and the ritual begins.

Order amendment 2- Just in case, I'm saying here that this is out of the DI not needed for duties.

The Manatane has taken up a position of dissent to any codification of creation, anything emanating from any other gods is false, designed to assist in the suppression of Manateeism and Manateites.

All other gods are horrible xenophobic edibles existing to destroy everything that The Manateee holds dear, including the right of followers to substitute others for themselves. Fancy that the other gods want you to be eaten; do they not understand the necessity of substituting others for yourselves? Why do they block your inalienable and fundamental rights? They are illiberal and evil attacking your freedom to act and worship The Manatee. Feed on them all!

The Manatee stands for Liberal Manateeism! :p

I don't like ritual in war anyway- if you object to anything emanating from other gods, then I'll cancel my plans to send you sacrifices.

Are you planning on codifying creation? If No then we dont have a problem :).
