Pre-GodNES

That's good for the cosmology, but does nothing or very little for the theogony, I'm afraid.

True. I thought I said the God simply created us, but I do see your point (and that is kind of boring).

Technically the shard theory doesn't contradict the eventual formation of pantheons at all. Also, it is the best explanation I could come up with for the gods appearing at the same time with their own powers and personalities.

Very well. I suppose that, without making things more complicated, its better to allow pantheons to form after the gods instead of constructing our gods after the pantheons.

As to shattering, it may have just happened regardless of the nonexistence of anything beside the proto-god. I'm presently thinking of some weird combination of [wiki]Pangu[/wiki] and [wiki]Brahman[/wiki], only with more shattering and classical polytheism.

I was sort of kidding about the shattered god thing making me worry. We could have the God Platonicky, and say that we are formed from divine sparks flying off from his infinite Platonic goodness, as a natural emanation of Being, which would sort of reconcile our ideas.

Create a large volcano at the middle dot, sourrounded by fertile feilds, a river, and some forests. I would also like to spawn a few tribes of worshippers, farmers on the feilds aroudn the mountain.
I will also creat fire birds to guard my territory.

Oops- I should have read the rules clearer(about duties). If we can do more then one action at once then I'll create one tribe of humans near the river mouth I've made as well as the river mouth.

Also, slight amendments to character sheet.

I start by creating the mouth of a river- if I can do it for DI, I make the river particularly fertile (Euphrates or Nile level fertile, that is- ideal for agriculture, but as good as particularly good OTL rivers for that). Location: top left.

Well he did say we can form pantheons (alliances?) together...

Amadea wishes to speak to Szok. Would you do a favor to me? And create a land with people to worship me? I have much to give back...
Well, I'm not sure I really want Szok to have a centralized following... so I'm not sure about land.

Well as for pantheons I intend Amadea to marry some other grand god and make him do her bidding, cause he would love her, and then form a pantheon by.. you know...
As for marriage... Szok's gender (or lack thereof) is a bit of an issue here...

I was rather tempted to create a forest guardian demon god, but I'm sort of already playing that in another NES now :p Also, can we have more than 100 people? Unless we're going to fastforward a little bit to a decently inhabited world, that ain't too many folk for to be a'sacrificing before mine idol.

As for marriage... Szok's gender (or lack thereof) is a bit of an issue here...
I have no intention of marrying your god. I do have intentions on being beautiful me and ask him to create for me land, or island with people to worship me. I have much to grant back to him.

Oh mighty Mateivahchata. I am queen of beauty. Grant me a gift and I will grant you my body for a night. I wish for people to worship me, and no people exist yet. I wish them to build a temple for me and I want you to do it.
*All this is said while she is naked in front of you*

The best way for equals to have power is for them to unite their interests- if this Divine Alliance goes ahead, I propose to join it. A Trumviate of gods can overcome any single god.

Name: Namar
Gender: Male
Description: A god of Chance and Mischief, he never appears in actual form within the mortal realm, preferring to possess individuals, animals, or inanimate objects through which to exercise his will. Creatures

Name: Coin of Chance
Description: Intelligent coins, these act as Namar's spies within the world. He is capable of seeing, hearing, and exercising his power through any of the coins. Because of this influence, the coins also have a small amount of Namar's power, randomly manipulating chance when flipped; some may always land on heads, and some will simply cause statistical anomalies to appear nearby. They take the form of the most common low denomination coin of the area which they inhabit.
Cost: 100 for 1 DI

Name: False Muse
Description: Beings of psychic energy, they move from individual to individual, inciting within them ideas that, in most cases, they cannot understand or comprehend, as these ideas are brought forth from pure chance. Although incapable of doing much more on their own, they can manipulate chance and, to a slight degree, influence the actions of their host; as with the Coins of Chance, Namar can exert his influence through these creatures.
Cost: 1 for 1 DI

Name: Anomalies
Description: Possessing no physical bodies, Anomalies present themselves only in the enormous number of statistical impossibilities that manifest near them. Capable of not only creating random chance, they can direct their powers to specific events to render nearly any outcome. Their power nearly rivals Namars own within the realm of Chance, and they are capable of using the Coins of Chance and False Muses as he does, as well as commanding them.
Cost: 1 for 5 DI

Wanna mess with me?

Name: Manatane
Gender: Manatee
Description: The manatee of all things, of things known and unknown, of worlds explored and unexplored, of grass grazed and ungrazed, of followers eaten, of oceans manateeized, and of xenophobic Manateeism.

The Manatane is a vengeful force. It is spoken that the Manatane was created when the celestial grazing grounds were disrupted, driven mad by this lack of edible fodder and needing to consume huge amounts of fodder to survive, the Manatane went bad, it devoured everything in its celestial wander. It is said that the dark gulf in the sky was caused when the Manatane devoured the lights of heaven.

It is said that the Manatane devoured a whole world, engulfing it in its great gullet finding this world oddly filling, the Manatane managed to pick a sliver from its teeth, looking in confusion and wonder it noticed strange life forms moving realising that these beings could fill it the Manatane decided to spare them (at least until it was hungry). This is how the Cult of Manateeism came into being, driven mad by the constant threat of being devoured the Manateites took to instead substituting others for themselves to feed in insatiable Maw of Manatane.

name: The Great Llama
gender: Male
description: The Great Llama has no real name. He is from an otherworldly plane that exists parallel to this, and he has dominated it since its first creation. Now, having perfected that realm he has turned his sights on another dimension. The Great Llama is a God of the Mind, of intelligence, creativity, insanity, domination, emotions, justice and chaos. His Divine Symbol is the Llama, as it is these creatures have wisdom and intelligence far beyond that of the real mortals, being the physical representatives of the Great Llama, they are able to communicate telepathically and use their minds to manipulate their surroundings in any manner.
characteristics:
-
Intervention:
duties: The Mind, dreams, magic.
-

-
realm: The Realm of the Great Llama is a tiny piece of his last dimensional home, Llamtopia, a realm of mystery where the thoughts of those loyal to the Great Llama take physical form, where dreams become reality. It is as a void, deep blackness everywhere, but amongst the blackness giant floating chunks of earth float gracefully through the eather, with lush forests, glorious mountains, and spariling rivers flowing endlessly, the rivers trailing off into infinity off the edge of the rocky islands. The void is pierced by billions upon billions of light specks, like whirling galaxies. The light from these fantastical places is bright enough to shroud the realm in eternal twilight. No sun is apparent in the Realm of the Great Llama, but many moons abound, giant spherical orbs of many colours, dancing intricate, endless patterns through the void.
-
creatures:

name: Llama Magi
description: The Llama Magi are the most powerful followers of the Great Llama that followed him through the rift from his previous dimension, Llamtopia. The Llama Magi are not related at all to the mortal cousins in this new world, indeed they are by far the most intelligent beings in creation, and are practically immortal, being the very first creations of the Great Llama they were his assistants in the creation of Llamtopia, assisting in the creation of the sub races therein. They use their minds to communicate, and their power is such that they can distort reality with a mere thought, their thoughts are physical, the dreams of a Llama Magi draw any nearby living being into them, where they are held under the command of the Llama Magi’s subconscious mind and are completely at his mercy.
cost: to be determined

name: Psychic Llama
description: The Psychic Llamas are the leaders of the different countries from Llamtopia. Descendents from the Llama Magi, they have some power and control over their surroundings, but not nearly as much. They do however have continuos contact with their previous home in Llamtopia and can summon forth allies at a whim.
cost: to be determined

name: Llama Divinator
description: The Llama Divinators are the prophets and mystics that make up the Llamtopian society. Their powers of the mind are such that they can delve deep into the past, future or present. Again, being decentdents of the Llama Magi they have basic control of their surroundings.
cost: to be determined

name: Alpaca Drone
description: the Alpaca Drones are the servants of the Llamas in Llamtopia, and they also make up the common people from that world. They are civilians in most part, but being devout followers of the Great Llama they are able to do meagre manipulations with their weak minds.
cost: to be determined

name: Goat Slave
description: the Goat Slaves are the result of the first attempt at the Llama Magi to create a new race, but unfortunately they didn’t work as well as planned. They are almost completely mindless, and obey whoever has enough control to the word. However, due to their lack of individual thought, they are physically very able bodied, they make up the hard workers and laboreres from Llamtopia, and are often used as meat shields and warriors in war time, though War is now a useless word in Llamtopia.
cost: to be determined

description: First of the world's entity to "die". He waited a long time, alone until the next "dead" came. This new "dead" was lost within the Underworld, otherwise known as Palorim, so Aecles became his guide in the world of the dead. As more and more souls came in, he re-created the Palorim, reigning as the God of the Dead.

realm: The realm of Palorim is detached from the mortal world itself physically. Palorim is, at the same time, is at the same place, but simply at another dimension. The only way to be taken into Palorim is by the aid of Res. Whoever enters the realm of the dead is stripped of physical body, but they live in spirit. Similarly, one can also exit the underworld by the aid of the Res.
-
creatures: These guys go out into the mortal realm and take them into the Underworld by Aecles's bidding.
name: Res
description: Shadow-like dark shapeless creatures who can take any form they want. When a person is dying or about to be taken into the underworld for any reasons, these guys will take the form of the one they love the most, luring and engulfing him into the earth, into the underworld. A lot of them can be accumulated into one huge thing, to kill many at once, or small enough for individual deaths. They can also appear out of anywhere, and contrary to popular belief, sunlight have no effects on them nor do they carry scythes.
cost: Depends on their numbers and size. (i.e. with 10, 1000 small ones can be summoned, or single huge one. Their individual strength depends on size.)

These poor people. This world is screwed. I think the nicest thing we have is lustful passion, and Lord knows thats a far cry from a merciful being.

I will respond to pantheon diplo tomorrow.
