Le Sage
Emperor
I preordered on Steam yesterday.
I've come a long way with both Steam and Civilization since 2010. Back when it was announced that Civ5 was going to be bound to Steam I was absolutely furious because I didn't even know what Steam was. Now I have all my best games there.
I ended up hating the initial release of Civ5 because it was in such disorder, but I stuck with it, mostly for old times' sake and tried it again at each patch; I finally ended up liking Civ5 with Gods and Kings. Just this last weekend I had my first game of Civ5 that lasted days and nights and the "Just one more turn" effect had finally hit me, just like back in the day with Civ1. Wow.
After that, there was no question about the fact that a preorder of Brave New World Order [sic!] was in order! It has taken three years and two expansions, but Civ5 has turned into a worthy successor in a series I have loved and followed since 1991.
