What is it? How do you usually pay for your purchases?

Cash, Bank account, Credit, Other?

How often do you pay for things in ordinary, physical money?

Credit/Debit card 90% of the time.

Cash is a real pain. But sometimes useful. Cheques too.

Cheques are still in use??

Debit cards rock. Back in the Netherlands, I used to for almost anything except in bars. Germany doesn't seem to like them though :(

But what do drug dealers accept?

And what's that mechanism with mobile phones used in Africa for transferring money?

debt cards are made of win. Also plastic.

Should I vote CC or bank account? :hmm:

So, what are you saying? No cash, no drug dealers?

I'm not saying that, in a cash economy these type of transactions are best done with paper money. If we removed cash, then they will find another way around it :P

I don't know, cardgame. And I don't know the difference really between a bank account and a credit account, tbh. Though I suppose there is one.

Yes, Quackers, because cash is untraceable. Remove that and all drug deals would be traceable.

Although I suppose cash is kind of traceable since they go to a lot of trouble to launder it. And give it a credible provenance, I guess.

Bank account is usually associated with checks, at least to my mind. Though of course debt cards work through them as well.

I pay everything with credit and pay it all off at the end of the month. Debit cards dont have quite as good rewards and dont have the same level of protection as credit cards. I only carry a balance with 0% Apr promotions.

Edit : Cardgame I'd say bank account since its just withdrawing money from your checking account, making it essentially an e-check

Debit card and cash.

Too young to ever bother with checks.

EDIT: Also what the hell us a USian?
