Price Mangement Thread

Businesses cannot post transactions until they are registered. Startup procedure is:

1. Post business startup in this thread.

2. The Price Manager will respond here with approval or via PM(whichever is prefered) with changes necessary. Once the Price Manager has approved the business in this thread proceed to;

3. Post a transaction in the Revenue Association/Bank thread if any startup costs are incurred. Link to the Price Manager's approval post.

4. Post a registry entry in the RPG Registry. Link to the Price Manager's approval post.


The business startup post in this thread must include:

* Owner

* Business name

* Business Type (Manufacturing, Resale, Service, Non-Profit)

* Size factor (Private, Partnership, Public Company, Corporation)

* Expense factor (based on average of starting price list)

* Estimated startup cost

All players are entitled to one free personal business startup.

The RPG Rules contains any other info you might need.

There are several items available for sale at the casino, ranging from food, to lodging, to souvenirs. Current Price Lists have been posted in the casino thread. Also, the bulk of our business will likely be in bets conducted in the online chat room. While those wagers may vary greatly, the majority of those will be limited to less than 50g.

We will sell stock to fund this venture. I expect our stock symbol would be GBC and I plan on offering 200 shares of stock at an initial offering price of 100g/share. Dividend rates have not yet been determined.

If sufficient startup funds cannot be obtained, we will seek a loan to obtain enough capital to operate.

Muskets: 50g
Rifle: 100g
Light Leather Armor: 75g
Business Desk: 100g
Personal Desk: 50g
Conflict Operations Table: 450g
Desk Lamp: 20g

S&E inc. will also be selling a new type of item. This item type is "drinks." This will be sold mainly to quench the thirst of are guests at auctions. The drinks that will be sold are as follows:

Root Beer: 5g
Beer: 5g
S&E inc. "Famous" rootbeer: 10g
Red Wine: 15g
White Wine: 20g

Please charge the additions to Ehecatl's account.

In order to sell drinks S&E inc. will have to be a manufacter and reseller. It is already both and all items are under 50g. The amount to add these items to your price list is 0g.

I don't think this will be very hard to clear with the Price Manager:

Size Factor: N/A since the type is non-profit

The FFL is a service... So it's only 500g annd the Casino is a 1st Free Business.

Also I'm letting naervod off only paying the 500g for one main reason. We need more stuff like this in the RPG. That's what keeps it interesting. As long as somebody is willing to create and run actually RPG stuff (like the football league). I'll let them go.

Startups are 1000g legal fees plus the variable amount for structures. The casino is not a personal business, it is a corporation with stocks that will be sold.

Actually it depends on the way you put it. In the rules there is two labels. Offical business's and Personal Business's. The first one being business's controlled by the RPG manager. The second one being business's controled by certain individuals. Of course as you go on a Personal Business is also a type of personal business you can get.

Mainly saying I can or can not charge FortyJ for starting up his business.

Actually, no. The classifications are Private businesses and Official businesses. The Private business type that each player may get for free (1st business) is a Personal business. That is a ranking that describes Personal, Partnership, Company or Corporation.

Don't start changing the rules on your own and don't selectively enforce them. If you want to change them, do it the right way by proposing the changes to the other RPG Managers.

First off..... It would cost money as noted above. If you change that to personal then you would have a free business.

Second.... Are you going to both make these items and sale them or are you going to buy them from a manufacter then resale them?
