Perfection said that evolution changes the genes that cause emotions which makes people want to make up God. My point is that some one made up the idea that there are genes that cause emotions, there are no genes that science has shown to cause emotions to this day. So his idea has no firm back ground. Of corse I could be wrong did some one find the genes Perfection?

Thanks for taking the time to explain your point. I would argue that emotions are a result of chemical reactions. Drugs (ie chemicals) alter peoples emotions. The chemicals your brain produces may be influenced by your genetic make up.

Ah, and I have mentioned before the basic's of heaven and hell where "invented", before they wanted to convert every one.

And as I have mentioned before, the concepts were invented before to maintain order. Back then, you go to heaven for being good and you go to hell for being evil. Only after the invention of Christianity were the revolutionary ideas of going to heaven and hell based on religion and not on morality invented.

A single event can stir completely different emotions that will vary from person to person based on their own life experiences. Our experiences determine which chemicals are released in response to specific stimuli.

I already explained how two people of the same faith in the same culture are very likely to imagine similar things.

Not as likely as you make it out to be. I have said it is very unlikely that we would say guilt, and it is, it's not just 2 people it's every one in the church. It's not similar things it is the same things. It's not like I saw what Jesus looks like. It's like I heard Jesus saying the same thing for the same person at the same time. You say because our mind are made out of the same stuff, that has nothing to do with it.

If you start there it will never end... You roll a die, you get a three. "Well, it must be god then. No way it could just have happened. What're the odds? Like one to six or something!"

The chance's are much less than the chance's of a die.

Again you vastly underestimate human imagination and the subconcious. Clearly, you subconciously picked up little cues about this couple's relationship... When your mind was in need for your regular dosage of god-chat, it looked around for something handy that you would interpret just hte way you want to, and used that. It may even be that you conciously realized this couple was having a hard time but you denied it to yourself for whatever reason, and then later the notion broke through.

I hardly saw the people I supose that it could be but...

God showed me that I was going to have a play fight with these people before I met them, I also saw that I would hurt some one if I hit him in a spot so I steyed away from it. He didn't get hurt becuase of that, but we still had the fight.

I don't know how you could say I made up the fight in my head before I saw the people.

If Again, if you would appreciate the mind's imagination, ingenieuity (sp?), resourcefulness, etc, you would not be so quick to attribute all of this to a universal divine force...

I would argue that the chemicals are just sent out for communication. The drugs just confuse the communication. I don't claim that the emotions come from God, but I do claim that God put them there.

Phyd. I do not doubt you are ernest in your beliefs, however to say that "God put them there" does not mean anything to me as I do not share your beliefs. You say that God talks to you. I will not belittle your experience, however you will appreciate to a none beliver it can sound like someone who has an imaginary friend. Can you give me any evidence outside of emotions / spiritual feelings or conversations that God exists?

It was talked about before then. Maybe they used it for that at that time, but it was talked about before.

Talks about some one going to hell.
