Oh no I believe it's real, I thought you might of been jopking at first and the thing about games was a kind of play on words? Put up another clue, this is driving me nuts!!!

no not emotion. Ya'll are still thinking too figuratively! think logically!

(and heck no I wont leak the answer to you!!! :p )

edit@Sidhe: no it's not education or study

edit2: off to school now. I expect a correct answer when I return!

I know when I'm beaten I'm sure I'll kick myself but I gave up on this not long after you left Fifty. You may as well tell us if no one gets it.

It's throw that is the stumbling block, I just can't think of anything you could throw that is related to the opposite of love and some sort of logical process. I was thinking it might be an emotion of some sort but you dsicounted that, I ttried thinking of say a demeanour or a look? But that isn't it? Look? I guess oyu can read it, I guess it's not visible if it's you doing the looking, and I technically you can throw one but don't think so and how is that almost the opposite of love? lust. hehe

Mind?
Caution?
Fortune?

hehe, I've said all them already. But nice try, they just don't fit all of the criteria. It's a doozy this one :) Throw is my bugbear, grrrr.

I'm sure it's something to do with reason, such as philosophy or conscience? But I can't puzzle it out with throw. And if it's a physical characteristic or act, it's difficult to see how it can't be seen?

You're all still wrong! Come on don't make me give ya'll the answer, that's against the code of the riddler! Again, my biggest tip is to think it through carefully and LOGICALLY. Although I've never been on the receiving end of this riddle, my hunch is that the best way to approach it would be to consider it as a whole rather than each of the three parts individually.

RADAR.

Ok, logically...

Point... as in, "I see your point". "Thanks for throwing that out there".

NOPE!

WRONG!

@eran: WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on people you can do it! I've given sooo many hints!

It isn't a weird or obscure answer. Its logical!

Darkness (can be read/measured, isn't words, can be seen, isn't visible, can be thrown/cast, cannot be caught/captured).

Plus it's the 'opposite of love', etc. as mentioned earlier.

fairly creative, but that's not the answer. I've never heard of darkness being thrown? I mean I know that cast is used for both darkness and throws but it seems different usages of the same word.

HINT: There isn't any "hidden meaning" to any of the words. They are all to be understood in terms of their most everyday definitions.
