I can only imagine you had an ulterior motive for doing that! Now I'll lose sleep trying to think what it might be.
Are you sure the lake didn't turn to milk? Or cheese?

@Peanut: Does leaving a whole artillery stack exposed and undefended count? I think I qualify - where do I apply?

Yes, that was the good old days. Now, if you nuke, you will get pollution and nothng else!

Anyway, Cracker has played trick on us when he said that. He knew that we will never get to the last member of the gallery. So, please stop applying for new membership if you wish to see the result soon. And if you are the last one, please remember to say "Is it soup yet?"

Moonsinger and Alanh - I am honoured and humbled by your desire to join the Peanut Gallery. Your claimed goofy achievements easily pass the "slightly nutty" entry criteria.

As for the question of "where do I apply", true membership of the Gallery is a matter of the mind and heart of the GOTM player.

Recall the fabled Round Table, where the noble and brave knights (and naturally knightesses Moonsinger) knew in their hearts that their deeds showed that they belonged there. When they entered King Arthur's castle - Lo, there was a seat at the table with their name inscribed on it.

Acolytes, it is thus with the Peanut Gallery. Achieving truly goofy deeds mean that you too have a seat in the Gallery - if you know in your heart that what you did ranks up there with all-time goofy greats then you already belong in our esteemed and nobly nutty fellowship.

Besides, Peanut would probably do something goofy and lose application forms if you sent them.

Remember it's only a game so play on ... and may the nuttiness be with you !

P.S. Soup is OFF the menu - so don't even ask for it.

The my starting QSC was 21. Results must be done in 2 August. I'm waiting a month - nothing. And what are you waiting for?

I just wanted to remind you that nothing must be done. There are a number of people who voluntarily spend a lot of time so that we can enjoy the gotm , the qsc, the medal play, etc.

Cracker posted in the beginning that there will be a delay this month due to vacation of some people.
So I'm pretty sure, that cracker will inform us when the qsc will be ready.

It's been a really hot summer here, so soup's the last thing I want!!

The QSC results are a nice comparison between the opening play of the participants, and allow you to gauge your performance/improvement month to month. Those will be nice comparisons whenever they come out - tomorrow, next week, Christmas, etc...

Unfortunately I am still lagging behind on completing these results even though everything will eventually get done.

I end up being the critical path element and we had three unforecast real world disruptions this past month that include being stranded without warning in Toronto for four days due to the you-know-what in the black-out-where.

For The Founder's benefit I would say be patient and show us you better side. In the long run it will paint a better picture of who you are.

Besides, on Fortune'd list of the top 500 people who would be immune to threats, pleading, begging, bribes, and other forms of extortion from the common man, my name would probably appear somewhere in the 250 to 275 rangel up from 321 in lasts year's summary.

Again I am sorry for the delays. (This was an unintentional one time thing but perhaps it will just make somepeople feel more at home, ie we are real people too.)

Having to wait a little longer this time should make us all appreciate the clockwork reliability that we have enjoyed from you and the team for the past 8 months. In a given month, one could almost set his clock by your consistent release of both the QSC and GOTM results. I'm sorry to hear that you got caught up in Toronto for four days. If you had to be stuck somewhere, at least it was a great place like Toronto! Also, congratulations on moving up on Fortune's "Threat Immunity 500" list. Rising 71 places is quite an accomplishment! Now, if I could just move up that many places in the GOTM....

Well, the soup has been cooking a whole month longer, hope it's good!

I had a PM with Cracker on this, and it's due to a compatibility problem between the automated QSC processing software and the save files as generated by different versions of the game software. It seems that when Firaxis / Atari puts out a new rev, they're storing the data in different places... Enough said on that.

Given the time required to do this manually, please continue to be patient, and rest assured that the QSC's will be updated in the long run. They will also be processed for the current game and beyond, so continue to submit your QSC's.
