Questions about Brave New World that don't deserve their own thread.

yeah, XCOM squad is really cool and i cant wait to use that! but only 1??? gods and king add a lot more, great war units, marine, composite bowman etc. better if they add at least 10 new Units
There are 2 new regular military units: XCOM Squad and Bazooka. Unfortunately they're both very late-game.

There are also the 2 new Trade units, the various Great artists and the Archaeologist. But that appears to be it aside from the civilization-specific units.

I think they focus on Civilian units this time in this Expansion. They still lack a 1 unit line, i really want a unit line which specialized on mountain, like this

We know they're including some (and probably all) of the wonders DLC. So if you wait and that, you won't get the scenario but should get everything else.

We know that you're getting the G&K features so you won't miss out on that.

We don't know if you're getting some or all of the DLC and G&K Civs.

Meh, I don't really care about the Scenarios, just the wonders. I have G+K and all the rest of the Civ DLC except for Polynesia, so I'm alright regardless. :king:

the rifleman in Rifling tree is alone. he needs a mate there. :D

What else would "Rifling" be good for? :crazyeye:

Bazooka is two. Archaeologist is three. Great Writer and Musician are four and five. Caravan and Trade Ship are six and seven. I realize most are civilian units and highly specialized, but I thought I'd be complete.

The artists of Firaxis were probably busy this time making all the great works instead.

IDK, maybe they could add new unit class like, cuirassers, dragoons, reiters, etc. they do even add XCOM which for sure nobody did expected it in this expansion. ;)

Sorry if this has already been addressed but with internal trade routes if I send lets say 4 production from city A to city B does City A lose 4 production? I imagine they would but I'm just trying to make sure since if they didn't they could be a bit op in early game

1. You need Granary to send Food
2. You need a Workshop to send Production

And no, you don't lose that food.

You don't actually "send" the production or food with the internal version of International Trade Routes. It creates it out of thin air in the "receiving" city. Nothing is lost by the "sending" city.

Filing cabinets!

Have the devs explicitly or implicitly stated that France is the only revamped civ, or is it still possible that they've tinkered with others?

They've actually never said a world about France that I've seen, but they deliberately put them in videos and screenshots so that we could see they've been changed. It's certainly possible that other civilizations have changed as well, but there's not currently any reason to think this is the case.

Well, besides that the name of the Dutch UA is now the name of a National Wonder, parts of the German UA and UU have ended up with the Zulus and an ideology respectively, and there is a new World Wonder that has the same inspiration as India's UB.

Do we have proof from an official source, or something more significant than comparisons to blurry images? (I'm not saying it's bad, just want to see how sure we can be).

No official statement.

However, the blurry image of the wonder has such an uncannily similarity to the structure of the actual Red Fort via satellite image; it is undoubtedly a new wonder:

What about Axeman? Or are we only going off what seems to be confirmed as a regular unit and nothing speculative?
