Questions about Brave New World that don't deserve their own thread.

We have seen them in a few videos. One is a lake that looks like no normal lake. The other was a fortified surface mine that generates 6 hammers. It was on flat desert. The first has been speculated to be Lake Victoria. The second is believed to be King Solomon's Mine.

This seems to be evidence that the Natural Wonders hinted at the SfA description and achievements are also included in the main game. It's quite probable that there are more Natural Wonders from Africa that we have not seen yet.

Do we know anything about MP improvements yet? For example finally allowing all map types in MP, instead of limiting over half the maps to single player (so stupid, so annoying >.<). Or maybe "fix" missing pop ups in MP like ruin finds. Or better MP AI with trading and what not.

In MP there's going to be a new hybrid mode, in which the game is simultaneous turns until someone declares war, and then goes into individual turns while players are at war in order to avert the mad scramble to use units. (Source: MadDjinn, BtM ep.19)

Do we know if venice can pick tiles for its puppets to work? Seems like venice would onlybe able to get natur al wonders in its puppets and it would be nice to be able to focus a mount Sinai for quick religion than wait for the puppet to grow to a size where it has no choice but to work the tile

Nope. It would've been mentioned, not to mention they will only work the religious tiles if it has no other tiles to work... seeing as Puppets are always on Gold focus.

Yes, Lake Victoria (6:c5food:2:c5gold:?)and King Solomon's Mines (6:c5production:) have been confirmed.
Has it been confirmed that King Solomon's mines is a natural wonder? I thought that perhaps the man-made wonders like that and El Dorado and the like were probably going to be the 'super excavation sites' you unlock by completing exploration.

Not nitpicking, just genuinely curious if it's been confirmed.

Neither of those things has been confirmed. We have seen some kind of improvements with those yields in screenshots, but it's not certain what they are, and the names are pure speculation. It's a good guess to say that they are probably Natural Wonders, but to say that's "confirmed" is inaccurate.

The Natural Wonders in the screenshots actually were identical to images of Lake Victoria and a painting of King Solomon's Mines. So it's not speculation at all.

6 food? Insane even for non-spain, a free HG?!!

I'm pretty sure we have no idea about the yields for the lake yet - we've seen the yield for the other one from the video, but AFAIK not that one. I doubt it'd be 6 food, but it is a wonder.

Plus, you're losing two food from the citizen working it. It will still be amazing for Spain though, especially once you add in One With Nature.

What are the unique abilities of Comanche rider? I know they cost less & move faster. But what is that unique promotion they get is supposed to do?
