Quick Answers / 'Newbie' Questions

I've been trying to think of something to post. However, all my efforts are for naught. I fear I have to read all 995 pages to get brought up to speed.

Yeah. What are muskets for? They're for being built when you've got no iron, bronze, or horsies; and growing up into Riflemen.

ETA: or heffalumps, obviously.

The same question arose to me when I saw vanilla originally had not chariots with 100% against axes.

Someone already posted this on page 432.

Or was it 234? Might be my lysdexia kickin' in again. Why don't you go back and look? :)
Oh, no. I'm sure it was 433. Or 234. One or the other. (Does it matter? :))

Surely it depends on your setting for number of posts per page? :D

Yeah, That's right. But I can't understand why? Did the developers put it in as a balancing mechanic?

and if so; what's it balancing? The counter religion strategy?!?!? That's just bonk.

I have always assumed it was a realism thing. If an invading army raised Jerusalem or Mecca it would not be just Jewish or Muslim civs that would think it is a crime.

Just standard subs. Attack subs can carry 1 Scout/Explorer/Missionary/Spy/Great Person.

I actually just did it, turns out only the Buddhist civs got mad at me. No mod, just BtS/BUG.
