You can only load missiles onto ships if they are in the same city. Move your missiles to a coastal city. Move your into the same city. When selected, the missiles should now have a button to let you load them onto the ship. Same with the tac nukes.

(In Final Frontier Plus, or regular FF, you can move missiles to ships anywhere. It's a setting in the CIV4SpecialUnitInfos.xml file. Of course, "ships" in this case means starships.)

Thanks God-Empire, that makes since.:crazyeye:

Does this only work with resources, and possibly GPT? Cause I tried to demand a tech my vassal rudely didn't want to trade, and he refused the demand.

Yep, vassals can and will refuse to give/trade techs. :(

Sine no one has answered this yet:

Seige (including cannons) does not work like Civ III. They can bombard cities' cultural defenses, but don't destroy buildings in the process. When they attack a unit (directly), they will do collateral damage to other units in the defending stack.

Ty, i did few wars and i now how fight and bombardment works.

Hi.

I have a mod with 47 players. The score player list (in game) is too large and i want to reduce it, maybe downscaling the font of the list. Where i can do it? What file?

I also want to change, the diplomacy screen. Actually, the players are in a semi circle pattern. I want to do a 360 pattern with the human player in the center. What file i need to mod?

Thanks.

Sometime when I'm killing an AI and he's down to 1 or 2 cities he still won't cap. When I mouse-over "Capitulation" it says "Surely you must be joking..."? What does that mean? Why won't he give up?

Some AIs just won't, regardless of how close they are to annihilation. There's a great reference guide by dj_anion, I can't access it on this computer but it has all the thresholds for when an AI will consider doing a thing (from resource trades to capitulation).

Tons of other stuff in there too. link

STarted okay, but then My view zoomed out and I couldn't find a way of getting back to the original view.

On the bottom right corner of your screen, right above the minimap, there should be an icon depicting a globe and a magnifying glass, click on that

Also welcome to the forums.

Question concerning gifting missionaries to a target AI civ which is currently in Theocracy and in a different state religion (than the gifted missionary). I'm looking for tactics/tricks to spread a religion to an AI with a different state religion which is running Theocracy.

1. What happens to the gifted missionary? Does the target AI simply delete it or store it?...or possibly do a spread religion mission to a 3rd AI civ? (I assume since target AI civ is in Theo that the missionary cannot spread to the target AI's cities.)

2. Prior to gifting the missionary, is it necessary to first get the target AI out of Theocracy (either via trade or espionage mission)?

Thanks fellahs.

AI should use the mish to spread that religion to some city. I gift mishes if AI is in Theo and I have any interest in spreading another religion to them. You don't need to get them out of the Theo. As long as they are in possession of that mish they can use it to infect themselves.

So, AIs running Theocracy can use missionaries gifted to them to spread non-state religion in their own cities?

Thanks, Lymond...good to see ya, been a while since I've posted. BTW, got a very rare (for me) culture win the other day [Imm/Normal]. I never attempt culture but map situation seemed perfect for it. Late--1804AD and kinda ehhh...but was different!

Theocracy prevents outside empires from spreading religions (other than the theocratic one) to the empire running theocracy. The theocratic empire can spread any religion within its own borders.

Hello

Here is a question, let say I want to play say Chinese civ, but I want my units to speak English - I mean I like china/zulu/whatever flavor but when a unit says "Um bu zu zam gu chu lam" - I feel that I can't command my soldiers if I don't understand them.
Is there an easy way to "switch" to English speech regardless of nation played?

Depends on how comfortable you are with XML modding.

-Copy CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml from your BTS\assets\xml\civilizations folder to BTS\CustomAssets\xml\civilizations
-Open the file in CustomAssets with a text editor
-Scroll to the civilization you wish to play and find the rows that say <CivilizationSelectionSound>AS3D_XXX_SELECT</CivilizationSelectionSound> and <CivilizationActionSound>AS3D_XXX_ORDER</CivilizationActionSound>
-Replace XXX with ENGLAND or AMERICA, depending on which accent you want to hear
-Save and start playing

Hello all.

Is it possible for a civ that has been eliminated from the game to reappear as a colony? For example, if the English civilization has been destroyed, and then a civ grants independence to their cities on another continent, could the resulting colony be led by Churchill?
