Quick Questions and Answers

I think it just adds 3 happiness per turn, which contributes to golden ages

If I have founded a religion. And I capture the Holy City of another Civ. If I purchase a Great Prophet in the captured Holy City, what religion will that GPr be? Because I would like to buy a GPr in the captured Holy City to spread their religion to my cities but not sure if it works that way.

Do naval units heal more points in cities as opposed to friendly territory? Do harbors or seaports make any difference?

It has been described numerous times in the verified bugs section and I revived a number of threads (including this one) to ask for help. I will give you the links but I guess I can try to explain it anyway. (thus in one of the threads I revived some people refused to understand it, hopefully I will be clear) :

It's when a worker or a set of workers HAVE BEEN menaced once and prompted the player to not be captured, but then, once the menace is gone, they keep not achieving their job by asking the player EVERY TURN what to do, as if there were still enemy units nearby but there's none. The most annoying experience of that was that I declared war in an easy game (chieftain) and the AI I declared war on had a scout nearby for some turns. After the scouts were gone or killed, my workers kept asking me for prompt every single turn, in the core of my capital ! Very annoying. I uninstalled vanilla Civ5 because of this. I would be curious if anyone can make a MOD to correct this... it has been corrected in the expansions by Firaxis but not in vanilla.

Hmm. I've not seen that bug, although I have noted that it is annoying that they keep asking, even if a scout is nearby. Do you have any mods installed? I just have EUI.

Got ya. I'm playing vanilla and I get that too. I didn't know it was because they were menaced. For me it seemed like workers in a recently conquered city were asking what to do after I clicked Next Turn, and I didn't know why. Yes, very annoying.

I was thinking if I do a research agreement with the weaker of the two civs, then the 2nd place civ would miss out on research agreements altogether and fall behind me even more. Is that a sound strategy or might I be missing something?
If anything that is mostly going to help the 3d place civ the most of anyone, and then they will be the 2nd civ and that might start a cycle if you switch between RA'ing with the weaker one. In the end, it would probably help their science and hurt your economy the most.

Does having your Generals on an enemy city's tile block them from using the tile, or does only non-General military units block use of enemy' tiles?

Maybe I'm wrong, but with EIC, which shows you progress on the tile improvement, it seems that this is only an annoyance, it doesn't stop work going on. They sometimes seem to stop working for other reasons too (e.g. when building a road in a friendly CS territory), although I haven't noted down all of these.

I believe only military units count for this, and the great general isn't technically a military unit.
