My convenience store job at 16 was like this. No sitting allowed, no drinking, no eating.

In a tiny store in a town of less than 2000 people, that meant just standing still for ~8 hours a day. Nope.

I got let go after a month.

I'm having a frustrated moment with Reddit. I noticed this before I experienced it, and then I experienced it anyway. If you present the honest truth in a blunt way, expect downvotes. Perhaps I'm being, erm, extra, but I can't help but worry that the Fortune 500 Skynets of the future will make their decisions along with how Reddit et. al. votes. Good for fighting them, bad for if we have to fight them.

The dirty truth is that narcissism is a generational pathology, at least 3 generations in a row. Chillers are still chill, but "average" people react with increasing levels of rage to anything that invalidates their public personas. Take this on a scale and Hygro is getting downvotes for doling out the truths.

It hurts, but it gives hope. It gives hope that maybe people are stupid after all, and it's my right and privilege to ignore stupid people and live well on their ignorance. It's simple, all I have to do is game enough people in their stupidity to give me their money and I can retire and post on CFC guilt free forever all day.

I doubt this. I think people are loosely smart, but narcissistic enough to defend themselves beyond their intelligent ordering of core values. And I believe class and demographics are a sufficient enough portion of "the self" that trends emerge. Trends that cause Hygro to lose enough Karma to whine on a different forum about it. (-9 baby. Yeah I'm a nooblet). And it hurts because extreme forms of narcissism means killing your exposer, your family, maybe some strangers, and yourself, before the reveal comes back to you. So there's no addressing it from the outside. "You're a narcissist" and suddenly everyone finds reasons why the alleger is a jerk and wrong. I've linked to the explainer enough that it's on (most of) you all to know I'm, not right but on to something, or, not.

But inextreme forms are "this offends me [declaration of it being sex/race/classist when it isn't even, as evidenced by you pushing it to be that label when you aren't the victim of that category—or you are the victim in identity but you make your life about it so while you might be doing people a service you might be chronically overshooting]" and, okay, I'm drunk, now I'm rambling off point, but this is THE problem of the Democratic party. Not that they play into this, but that they have to.

Basically all of this is to say if you think Zuckerburg is an idiot for spending $400 on grey t-shirts then you are an idiot for thinking your opinion is anything other than pure noise, because you don't know, you won't AND CAN'T know unless you are one of like 5 rich CFC OTers. And if you are certain you know he's an idiot for it you will almost certainly remain too poor to ever afford a $400 shirt to know if you are right or wrong about your declaration of idiocy.

Well unless it lasts as long as 10 t-shirts worth $40 dollars each (that is it lasts him for life) or does something a $40 t-shirt can't, I'll think he's a frivolous overspender and that he could get more bang for his buck giving away the difference.

I already did multiple times at your side, why do you think I could suddenly have switched identities?
And why the hell do you need to know? There's absolutely no good reason for that.

And great, it doesn't recognize the old scan, so I later need to go to work to make a new one and hope it does. Because the only alternatives are ploading a photo via the app (which you can only get via the playstore, which I do not use), or via the desktop computer (thanks, no camera here).

Not to book a reservation on line, in my experience. You just show the ID at check in. The assumption that everyone has some digital form of ID they can send from their phone, and they are willing to do so, is annoying. @The_J has a valid complaint.

In theory it is also illegal in Germany to make a copy for this purpose (online booking).
And great, when the next hacker gets in their database, then this info will be public too.
